"We should be approaching Goloann."

The speaker mumbled to both men.

"Are you sure about there being a lord vampire in the mountain's? That and why near a town with such a small population, Alucard?"

Alucard resisted the urge to roll his eyes at the monster hunter.

"That's exactly why it would choose there. Small population might not be good for feeding but it holds a less likeliness of being caught or noticed."

"And seriously? 'Blood Throne'? that's the name of the cave it hides out in? just hang a sign outside that says 'Hey a vampire lives here. Come one, come all Hunters!"

"Yes but with the rumors of necromancy and witchcraft surrounding it many are to afraid to even approach. And they're smart to be scared."

Sypha added, making Trevor scoff.

"That looks like the inn."

Alucard interjected, cutting off Trevor before his wit got him into another argument with one of the two.

Pushing open the door, Alucard held it open for Sypha and Trevor.

Sypha gave the Dhampir a small smile and a 'thank you.'

Trevor however didn't say a thing. but that was to be expected from the hunter.

"Hello there good sir, we need three rooms please."

The innkeeper looked sheepish.

"Well you see, m-ma'am I only have two. will that suffice?"

Trevor's jaw dropped but before he could say anything Sypha swiftly kicked him in the shin to shut him up.

"Yes. that will be perfectly fine."

She answered politely, wearing a fake smile knowing damn well she was gonna be hearing Trevor bitch about this for days.

Once she'd been given the keys the group had barely made it down the hallway before Trevor started to speak.

"I can't believe your making me room with a damn vampire! I'll be lucky if I escape with my neck unscathed!"

Alucard was unusually quiet during the whole ordeal, leaving Sypha somewhat concerned.

Normally the Dhampir's tongue was much sharper, and she'd even have to go as far as try to get the two to stop arguing.

He had been alone for quite some time, and Sypha worried that it might have changed the vampire, being alone for so long after losing everything he'd had.

His mother murdered by human's and being forced to kill his father who'd gone insane with grief.

"Just be quiet Trevor, it's only for a few nights. That and you really think Alucard would do that?"

Sypha snapped at Trevor.

Trevor didn't respond, closing his mouth immediately, the air growing more tense around the trio.

"Fine..."

Trevor finally huffed out, finally noticing the silence from the Dhampir.

"Come on then."

He motioned for the vampire to follow him, his feet hitting the floor with soft thuds.

"How come you're not saying anything? I would assume that you'd be just as upset with the sleeping arrangements-"

Trevor went quiet again.

There was only one bed sitting against the wall in the center of the room.
