Sakamaki Subaru X Female Reader: Not A Monster

          You saw Subaru standing in the garden, looking at the flowers shining in the moonlight. Your relationship was tricky. You deeply cared for him, you knew that, and he cared for you, he didnt want to admit that so he didn't. You could say you loved him. But his lack of emotions prevents him from breaking down his walls and loving you. He thought he was too much of a monster to be loved. But he wasn't. You two were friends, but you wanted more. Because you deeply, deeply cared. You carefully made your way over to Subaru, as not to disturb him. He was delicately resting a thin white rose petal on the tip of his finger

          "What are you doing?" you softly asked as you stood next to him, looking at the same flower he was. He slowly stood up from his crouching position.

          "Just taking a walk," he distantly replied.

          "Dont you mean a 'standing still'?" you joked looking at him.

          "Mh" he lightly chuckled in reply, a brief curve tugged at the corner of his lip; though he was still examining the rose. You put a hand on his shoulder, head resting on the side of it and looked back at the flower.

          "It's quite beautiful. I'm amazed with how well you can tend to a whole garden of plants and have them all look like they were grown by angels." you stated with an unconscious smile.

          No response. He pulled his hand back from the flower and just stood there still examining it. You wrapped your arms around his torso, but he didn't hold you back, just stood there. It was like he wasn't even there. After some seconds you grew worried. You looked up at his pale yet perfect face.

          "Subaru..." no response. No movement. Were You even real? You cupped his cheek and started to stroke it with your thumb "Subaru whats wrong?". Nothing. "Did i do something to upset you?"

          "Why do you polute yourself with me?" he said with a monotone voice and expression, still not making eye contact. You knew what he was going on about. He's done this before. Not with you, but you heard about it. You knew about it and why he says those things..

          "Subaru, what are you talking about-"

          "YOU KNOW WHAT!!!" he said, moving faster than you could register as he pulled away from you. You were suddenly on the ground, your rear on the dirt, your sat up position being supported by your arms and hands. He was feet away from you looking down at you. "IM WRONG!! I CAME OUT WRONG!!!"

          "Subaru..."

          "IM NOTHING!! But you just keep Coming BACK! Every. Single. TIME!"

          "Subaru I-"

          "DONT YOU SEE WHAT I AM!? I'M A VAMPIRE!! A MONSTER!!" his eyes started to burn, yours were already pooling. "I'LL BREAK NOT JUST YOU, BUT YOUR BODY!! YOUR MIND!!! YOUR SOUL!!! I COULD KILL YOU EFFORTLESSLY!!"

          "Anyone could!" You stated, getting up. He stopped to let you continue. "Anybody could run up and stab me, I could get struck by lighting. I could fall and crack my head. A thorn could run down my wrists and i could bleed out, Dont think only you can kill me."

          "Damn it Y/N! Can't you see!? I'm a FREAK!! WHY DO YOU STAY NEAR ME!?"

          "Because I care about you deeply!"

          "WHY!? I'M AN EVIL, IMPURE DEMON!! IM TERRIBLE!! VAMPIRES KILL WITHOUT REMORSE!! I DRINK BLOOD!! I-I KILLED MY MOTHER! I'M A WASTED LIFE!! A MONSTER!!!"

          "STOP IT DAMN IT STOP IT!!" you said stomping. He was quiet and shocked as a tear dragged down his cheek. You, however, were full on crying now. "STOP SAYING THAT!!! YOU AREN'T A WASTE OF LIFE!!! I DONT CARE WHAT YOU THINK OR SAY! OR WHAT YOU MOTHER THOUGHT OR SAID!! YOU AREN'T A FREAK! YOU AREN'T AN IMPURE NOR EVIL DEMON!!! YES YOU KILLED YOUR MOTHER BUT THAT'S BECAUSE YOU LOVED HER!! SHE WANTED YOU TO!" You stopped. You breathed after your outburst to calm down. Subaru was frozen, tear stains down his face, he was standing straight up.

          "You're Not a wasted life Subaru," You took slow steps toward him. "You aren't a monster. A monster would kill without feeling ashamed. You dont really want to kill, or hurt anyone. You dont want to be violent, that's just how people have shaped you. In their eyes. But they are the wrong ones. You do care about people and how your actions affect them. You're not a monster."

          "yes i am." He said sadly, Looking to the side.

          "Well i dont think you are." you said solemnly.

          "..."

          "Would a monster feel sad?"

          *step*

          "Would a monster distance themselves, because they dont want to hurt people?"

          *step*

          "Would a monster try to protect me?"

          *step*

           "Would a monster make me happy?" Subaru's eyes looked up at you in shock.

          *step*

          "Would a monster make me excited?"

          *Step*

          "Would a monster make me feel nervous with anticipation, waiting to see and be with him?"

          *Step, Step*

          You were now in front of him, arms around his neck. "Would a monster make me smile?"

          His eyes relaxed as he looked at you. You began to drown in his rose red ones.

          "Would a monster make me giggle at how goofy he can be when he's being such a tsundere?"

          He looked back in your eyes.

          "Would I stay by a monster's side no matter what? Unconditionally? Would a monster make me wanna jump 10 feet high? Would I want a monster? If you were a monster would I stay with you? If you were a monster would I lay awake on late nights with you, thinking? Dreaming? If you were a monster would i-"

          You were interrupted by the feeling of cold but caring lips against yours,. You could feel something wet and slippery against your tongue and realized it was his own, as well as arms wrapped around you tightly. You 2 stayed like that for a while, a long, long while, until you reluctantly pulled away.

          "S-Subaru..." you sighed.

          "Kiss me again.." he pleaded. You did as he asked and kissed him, longer this time. So much passion..... But mostly love. You didn't want to stop. You couldn't stop. You wanted to stay like this forever. You were a pretty peaceful person, but you swore if Raito or any of his brothers ruined this for you you would tear them to shreds. (especially if it's Yui). Your lips slowly grew apart as he looked back into your eyes. "Let's go."

          "Go where?" you asked. He looked at you and you knew exactly what he meant. "Oh." you waited a while as red covered your cheeks up yo your ears then nodded, as he teleported you away.
