Next day was as cold and frigid as yesterday. Thoughts of secret Santa were buried deep down, with buzzing gossip and daily activities of a high schooler.

Lunch was full in progress as babbling mouths voices words. Aziel was in the locker room, changing from his PE clothes. As he opened his locker an unfamiliar object grabbed his attention.

Wrapped in smooth orange paper was a heavy round object, accompanied by a yellow marker. He moved his head around, looking for any clue about the person behind it.

Not finding any possible culprit in almost empty room, he moved his attention back to the object.

With fingers itching to rip the paper, he moved it in his hands. But something inside him stopped him. Wanting full privacy he carefully carried it out of the room.

With Jason absent, he made solace of library his friend. He thought he was alone but whispers still followed him around. In a silent corner, away from spying kids, he settled in one of the chairs.

Licking his lips, suddenly feeling nervous he pulled the yellow ribbon keeping it the paper together. Like a flower unfurling the paper gracefully slid down.

Basking in his attention was a small ceramic cup. White cup with outline of world map decorating its outside, once again confused him to the fullest.

Pulling out the contents from the cup, he gazed at every object with great interest. Two packets of hot cocoa and one pack mini marshmallows described the contents of the cup. He carefully plucked the yellow post-it note attached to one of the packets.

'You love traveling and hot cocoa. Why not combine them together? Color each country you have traveled on your cup and enjoy some amazing hot cocoa. Best gift ever right? :)'

A small laugh slipped past his lips. For him, it was the best gift indeed. The ceramic mug was now a lot more delicate for him and the contents even more important.

The note was something that still taunted him with its mystery. The handwriting was a beautiful drawl as if perfected with years of practice. The small at end of each word was very feminine, giving him a hint about its owner. And that smile at the end was something that described the cheerful soul that person harbored.

Filled with giddiness he picked the yellow marker, following the given instructions. With a dozen countries colored he wondered if the map would be colored fully one day.

With steaming hot cup of cocoa in his hand, he looked out of his bedroom window. Black clouds moved in the dark sky as the wind picked up its pace. His chocolaty browns gazed at the first snowfall of that winter as he pulled a similar drink up to his lips.

A small figure hunched under a tree hummed a similar tune, basking in first snowfall and staring at the house from afar.

With this, they celebrated the second day of December with hearts still beating apart.
