With anticipation of powering his steps, Aziel quickly got inside the school doors. Maneuvering past the crowds of students, he stepped in front of his locker.

Since the box from Friday, he hadn't received any more gifts from the mysterious person. So when the school day was finally here, he was giddy would be an understatement.

Rummaging through the locker, he didn't notice Jason's presence next to him. Disappointment came next as he couldn't find anything wrapped in gift paper.

Maybe it is in the locker room! He silently thought. Just as he was about to make a mad dash for it, Jason's words caught his attention. "Woah, dude! Since when did you start keeping a diary?"

Turning around, he moved his eyes to where Jason was pointing. Indeed there was a brown leather-bound diary there. It stood out in his paper and junk-filled locker, he was amazed he didn't notice it earlier.

With steady fingers, he pulled the diary out. Front was simple, with his name engraved in gold in secret Santa's handwriting. Just as he was about to open it, he noticed Jason peeking over his shoulder. Giving him a not so subtle shove, he put the diary inside his bag, not wanting to share what the message entailed.

Privacy was something he wasn't able to achieve with Jason present in school. His mind many times wandered to what meaning this gift held but with Jason's consistent nagging he survived the day.

Finally in deep solace of his room as low hum of his mom's favorite Christmas songs floated through his house, he felt alone enough to open his present.

The mysterious person's beautiful handwriting greeted him as a soft sigh of relief escaped past his lips.

'You tend to keep your emotions hidden the various veils of personality. If you ask me, it is not healthy. If you are not comfortable with speaking them out, why not try writing them out?

This diary will be your most loyal friend and never share your secrets with anyone. All you have to do is keep it safe. :)′

He let out a labored breath as he read the words again and again. As the day flew by these gifts were getting more and more personal. He wasn't sure what he felt about it. But one emotion that was more prominent than others was vulnerability and now with this diary, he felt even more exposed.

He combed his fingers through his brown tresses with a shaky hand. Emotions overwhelmed his whole being and thoughts ran array. Now more than ever he was intrigued about this secret Santa and how this person knew so much about him.

Deciding to try the theory out he opened the diary and picked up a pen. He tried to write something but he came blank. He couldn't decide what he wanted to write about. As a thought struck him, his pen moved and glided its way across the paper.
