Aziel smiled as he was comfortably settled in the depths of his covers. The snow outside emphasized their need. His eyes were stationed over the pages and his mind drank in the words.

The blue book was placed in his lap and his hands had a familiar mug with brewing hot chocolate. For once his house was silent, an uncommon occurrence during the holiday season.

His parents were out to buy some more Christmas lights to decorate the porch, while his brother was out catching up with his old high school friend. He would have been strolling through the market square, gazing over the decorated street, if it weren't for the fact that Jason had left for his grandparent's place and he hated going out alone.

His phone pinged with a message and he frowned, he was way too deep in the story and he didn't like being disturbed.

'Lol! My grandmother's cat almost went missing in the snow.'

Attached with the message was the picture of a white ragdoll cat, barely visible in the white snow similar to its coat. Only the grey ears were the indicator of the cat's presence.

Aziel released a small snort in the response and shook his head.

He was going to dive back into the regency era England if it weren't for the fact that his eyes stopped on a certain thing.

Now with his attention stolen, he placed a bookmark and made his way to the thing.

A polaroid camera in pale green color was the one to catch his attention. As his eyes went to the few photographs sitting next to it, her words replayed in her mind.

'I don't seem to understand why you are so against any kinds of photographs. Always hiding behind others and avoiding them.

I feel like you need these photographs a lot in your life as they act as your legacy and a stolen memory, forever preserved.

So use this camera and preserve your memories because each and every one of them are important. :)′

Lining up next to the camera were pictures of him and Jason, his family and their Christmas tree.

His mom had taken a few too and placed them on the fridge with magnets. While Elijah teased him about the mysterious person. Claiming the girl to be his secret admirer. In return all Aziel did was give him a harsh shove but he didn't deny anything.

Because somewhere in his heart he hoped that maybe his words could be true. They were just a wish which could turn reality on Christmas day and he didn't know if he was excited with it coming closer or nervous.
