Coming out to best friend

Well as you already know Amy and I are together now but there's just a little problem and that's my parents. They doesn't know about that or that I'm lesbian and like girls. I was talking with Amy about it and we both agreed that first I should tell that maybe to Max I mean because he's my friend and maybe he can help us with that. I agreed to meet with Max after school at Caffè and my parents agreed to that which was very weird for them specially for my father because they never let me anything so yes but nevermind I was happy about it. When school was over Amy was already waiting for me so we both went holding hand in the Caffè and saw Max. I waved him to let him know that we were here. After about ten minutes he came to us took what we ordered and said that when he will be back that then we can talk because he will have break then. Ten minutes later Amy and I got our drinks and soon Max come over and we started talking firstly some random topics and then about my and Amy's situation.

"So what's up girls? Today you both look very different and happy." Max said noticing that.

"Well..." I said nervous and not knowing how to start that conversation or topic.

"It's okay Nicole just calm down and tell him." Amy said trying to support me and make me easier to tell him.

"Tell me what?" He asked confused but curious at the same time. You could see that he was nervous now too by how he was looking at us and sitting.

"Well, for the start I'm not straight..." I said that in one breath and looked away from both Amy and Max and then I could feel hand on mine when I look at it I saw that it's Amy's hand. I take her hand too and hold it under the table so nobody could see it.

"What do you mean you're not straight?" Max asked surprised and confused at the same time.

"Well I realised that I'm attracted to girls in more then just a friend way. I don't know if you understand it?"

"So if I understand it right you're lesbian and you like girls? And I can guess that you're already dating some girl and by my thinking it's Amy am I right?" He asked smiling bright at both of us while Amy and me was in complete shock I mean how he knew it. Like wow...

"How did you know that?"

"I have nose for that kind of thing. But don't worry cutie I'm happy for you two. Does your parents knows about that?"

"No and can you please not tell them? You know by yourself how they are?"

"Sure don't worry your secret is safe with me." He said and winked at me. Which was so cute and I'm glad that we're friends. I really trust him.

"Max one more thing?"

"Sure anything?"

"Are you really okay with me being lesbian and no straight?"

"Yes don't worry I still love you as a friend your sexuality didn't changed anything about you except for your sexuality."

"Okay then thank you so much."

"No worries cutie. Now I have to go back to work but see you later."

"Okay bye." We said goodbye to each other and he went back working and me and Amy drinked our drinks and soon went home because we both had to study for big exam which is coming this week.
