I Woke up late in the afternoon. I opened up my computer to write what I was thinking at that moment. I was opening a word document and thought "What would happen if COVID-19 never ended? Would I just sit inside for the rest of my life?" I sighed at myself and started writing in my word document. "so write what I think."

I wrote a paragraph in my word document where my thoughts started to flourish, and it read "I imagine two small boats carrying a large raft of wood and food to take back to an island far away, the raft pulls the boats down that it makes the boat slower to get home. One night one of the boats unhooked it's rope and left out of impatience and ignorance. The next morning Gregory realised the other boat left. Captain Gregory was determined, he told his crew not to worry for we can survive the trip, so they keep going. The weeks go by longer than expected, and They haven't reached home. The crew got impatient with Captain Gregory and started to plan their way of escaping the long, painful weeks. They were going to kill the captain."

I looked at the story so far, and I read over what I have done. I reached out for my water and started to drink the water, and I glimpsed outside of the window to see the sun was setting. I did sleep the whole day, so I should've expected that. I looked back at my computer to continue the story.

"The crew planned to die Captain Gregory up and slaughter him. So they went at night while Gregory slept in his office, they saw his work and his plans on making the new island homely and well organised. He had seeds for trees, fruit plant seeds and a few other plans but the eldest member of the crew grabbed the plans and said, 'we will continue these soon, but we must kill this bastard. He left us for weeks to not see our family or friends. We've suffered just for us to die holding on to some pathetic material that'll not even last forever. We must kill the killer before he kills us!" The crew cheered and started torturing Gregory, they cut off his fingers one by one then started yanking his teeth out, Gregory begged for mercy from the crew members, but it was too late, their blind ways have led them to a life of misery. The eldest of the crew members came up to Gregory and slit his throat with a dagger, Leaving him to bleed out and die. They threw the dead Captain of the ship overboard and let go of the large raft.

The crew members went home, finding many of their friends and family dead of severe hunger and found their destroyed homes. They were too late to save anyone because of everyone's impatience, greed and ignorance. The other ship members died while the captain of that boat survived. Captain Richard asked, 'where is your captain? Isn't he with you? Tell him it's too late, everyone is gone.' One of the crew members spoke out and said, 'we got impatient, and we got rid of him for trying to help everyone.' Richard sighed and looked at the rest of the crew. 'He was the only man who truly cared about others, our greed and misguided thoughts put our city in ruins. We'd all be alive by now if I wasn't so impatient. I am sorry for all of your loses.' Richard walked away into the distance, never to be seen ever again! The crew members, they all died from hunger and the cold since there was no shelter to be seen, the members of the ship were forgotten and that's the story of the sinking boat."

I sigh for a moment as I read through my story again. I go to a website where I could post my work and post my account. I publish the first chapter to see if the story gets any feedback, then I went to sleep to continue my day. I release the first chapter to see if the story gets any feedback then I went along with my day.
