𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐢𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐨 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐣𝐞𝐧𝐨 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲.

"hyuck stoppp it!"
mark squealed as haechan pinched his cheeks for the 17th time today.

"never!!"
the younger exclaimed as he tried to kiss the olders cheek, but before he could, the other quickly dodged it.

as all this was going down, jeno sat at the opening of the hallway, a sad look on his face.

jeno and mark have been in a relationship for about a month, only just recently just getting intimate with eachother.

so, seeing his now boyfriend and one of his best friends getting a little too comfortable with eachother made him more than uncomfortable.

"hey, jeno, are you okay?"
jaemin, jeno's bestfriend asked while waving his hand infront of his friend's face.

snapping back to reality, jeno blinked while nodding to his bestfriend.

"um, yeah."
jeno stumbled over his words, his eyes still glued on mark and haechan.

jaemin furrowed his eyebrows, still concerned with the older.

"are you sure, cause, you dont look too good."

the older just sighed at younger's words, knowing the situation would build up in his brain to be something that it's not if he didn't tell somebody.

jaemin sat comfy next to jeno on the soft carpeted floor, putting his hand on his shoulder.

"it's ok, bud, just tell me what's going on, ok?"

jaemin and jeno were extremely close, they told eachother pretty much everything, when they were happy, when they were sad, etc.

jeno looked down and began messing with the bottom of his shirt, feeling anxious and embarrassed about why he was so upset.

"it's just..mark seems to be more interested in haechan than me.."

the older said, putting his face in his hands from jealousy.

mark was his boyfriend, not haechan's, not anyone's but jeno's.

seeing mark laying with the younger on the couch, giggling and cuddling, made jeno feel like shit.

'was he not good enough for mark?
was mark gonna leave him for haechan?'

jeno's troubling thoughts were interrupted by his bestfriend shaking him back to reality.

grabbing his shoulders and looking him in the eyes, jaemin began to softly talk to jeno.

"jeno, i need you to listen to me when i say this, mark loves you so much, he never stops talking about you and your relationship.
one minute with you not there with him is similar to hell. "

the older chuckled as he heard the last sentence, starting to finally feel better already from his friends words.

"if you feel this way you must tell him, remember, the key to a healthy relationship is communication."

jaemin said patting jeno's shoulder as comfort.

the older took one deep breath, and hugged his bestfriend.

"thanks, jaemin."
jeno said, happier and more confident than before.

jaemin smiled and hugged his best friend back.

"your welcome, now, go get ur boyfriend."

jeno laughed, made a determined face, and got up out of his spot.

jeno slowly walked up to the two boys, and to be completely honest, he was nervous af.

mark and haechan were still talking until they looked up and saw the boy standing infront of them.

mark's face lit up, he was so happy to see his boyfriend.

"mark, i was..wondering if we could...talk in the other room?"

the older's smile faltered for a second, then was replaced with another sweet grin.

mark stood up and grabbed his lovers hand.

"of course, baby."

the older gave haechan a look of question and haechan replied with a nod of understanding, making both mark and jeno smile.

"baby..why didn't you tell me you were feeling like this?"

mark asked rubbing his thumb lovingly on jeno's hand.

jeno's head hung low as he sniffled a couple of tears back and shrugged.

"i'm supposed to be the strong one in this
relationship, i'm sorry for acting like a baby.."

the younger boy voiced his feelings while a quiet tear rolled down his cheek.

mark's face crumbled in sadness as he saw the state of his boyfriend.

he grabbed jeno's face between the palms of his hands, kissing him on the lips.

after a short kiss with his boyfriend, mark pulled away and then pulled him into a warm hug.

"lee jeno, you are not a baby for telling me how you're feeling. if anything it makes you strong, a healthy relationship is all about communication, and by telling me this, you're helping strengthen our love."

mark then laid a quick kiss to jeno's neck.

"and i love you so much."

just hearing those words escape his boyfriends lips made all of jeno's worries disappear.

a beautiful smile was displayed on jeno's face as he hugged his boyfriend even tighter.

"i love you more.."

"now, wanna watch a barbie movie?"

"fuck yeah."
