THE BEGINNING OF THE END

!First day it all went down!

"Y/N!" my mom said ''wake up you missed the bus this morning you know that right"? I sat up on my bed and looked at the clock. It was 7:00 in the morning, I usually wake up at 5:30 so I can get ready fast and do my chores in the morning. So I jumped up out of my bed and got dressed in my school clothes. I was wearing my favorite crop top, my leggings, vans, and orange hoodie. While I was getting dressed I could hear my mom and stepdad were arguing about my mom taking me to school? So I just grabbed my phone and Mac-book and put my air-pods in my ears and turned on music and went to the kitchen to eat my breakfast so I can leave to go to school. When my mom walked out of her room she had a small red mark on her right cheek. I went to ask her what happened to her face but then s/d/n my stepdad walked out of their room and his left hand a red/pink tent to it. That usually means that he went out last night, got drunk and he got into a fight. I went to go say something but then my mom said "Get in the truck, I am taking you to school." So I just hopped into the truck and said nothing on my way to school. I just sat there staring out my window and tapping my foot to my favorite song . Sometimes I feel like it is the end of the world and today feel like it a lot.

    When I got to school my friends were all surrounding something or someone so I just pushed my way through the crowd of people and finally got to see what or who it was. It was Bob our janitor though it wasn't worth it because he was just playing a prank again. Then I heard someone say EWE SOMETHING CAME OUT OF HIS MOUTH after that I heard someone yell "what is that stuff next to his mouth?". So I went over to check it out when I got to him foam was coming out of his mouth. When I saw it I told someone to call (911) and fast. We sit for a long time then we hear the sirens pulling into the parking lot. So we all ran outside to check. Well except for me I just stayed inside to watch over our janitor, Bob. When the police officers walked in they were all wearing these suits like suits that keep you protected from diseases or infestation of some kind. Now it feels like the end of the world. So after they took him to a hospital one of the guys asked to sit down and talk to me and a few other people. When he was talking to us 8. My friends noticed the window of the office room that we were in and a few of my other classmates were falling to the ground and not breathing. So 2 of my friends ran out there to see what was going wrong. Before they almost set foot out the door the policeman yelled(NO DON'T GO OUT THERE !). When they set both of their feet out into the hallway they dropped straight to the floor. I started to cry but then the police said

"There is a cure to it we just half to find it. "I looked at the policeman and said "I'm pretty sure you would be crying too if your friends were dead. "The policeman stared at me and said

"You could get in the van or stay with your friends and get turned into one of them." I looked out the glass window of the office and when I did my friends were slowly getting up I was so confused so I looked back at the police.

I said, "We should get out of here." We started walking out of the office. When we were walking to the van the policemen were putting my friends to sleep. I mean the ones that already passed out before. I looked where the van was and the policemen started having kids cover their mouths. So as the kids were getting in the van the police started handing out masks and telling people to get in a van. Everyone started asking questions about where we were going. The policeman just sat there and said nothing.

   As we were going down the road we could see people outside of the van dropping dead or acting weird like running after other people. When I felt the van stop I knew we were almost there. So I looked out a window and all I saw was gates around, a few people thinking that maybe it might be a town that is surrounded by gates to keep us protected from the disease. When we came to a complete stop I knew we were there. Because I heard people whispering stuff up in front of the van. Some girls asked where we were and others asked what's that sound. when the back doors of the van opened I was the last one out. What I saw was amazing except for the weird people (you know what I am going to call them I am going to call them zombies ‍because zombies tried to bite people in a thousand stories and are weird). So there you go. When we all got out of the van we had to get in a line to get pillows and blankets for our beds. It feels like a prison here but it's beautiful here. When we got out we got in a line (YOU ARE IN TEXAS!)said a loud voice from a few feet away wow I have never been to Texas before. From a few feet away you could see a woman staring at us. When we all get our blankets we all go meet up with our helpers. boys go in one cabin girls go in the other cabins. When night rolls around the corner we all start to head to bed.

   When I got up I heard a bell and I heard people talking outside. So I got dressed and went outside to see what it was all about. But the thing is I forgot I wasn't at home so I just put back on my dirty clothes. When I walk outside I suddenly see my boyfriend. He has been my boyfriend since 3rd grade. So I run over to him and say hi but he doesn't recognize me since I have purple and gold hair. So I told him who I am and he remembered me. My boyfriend is taller than me, has blonde hair and is a Christian and he is from the country. I am just a little smaller than him. I used to have red hair but It is gold and purple. I did it about a week before this happened to me and I am American but I am not a Christen.

"So how have you been babe," I said to Isaac. "I've been fine. How about you ?"

"Doing fine just terrified of all this stuff. So what does this bell mean?"

  "Oh, it's the breakfast bell."(DINGDONG DINGDONG GG!). "Lady's first", says Isaac to me. "Then that means you have to go first babe", I said messing around. "Haha funny now go little missy", said Isaac to Laila. "Ok, I guess so".

   15 minutes later, at least we got our food and sat down quickly. If we didn't we would be sitting on the ground. With them and I don't want to sit by them. "So I want to meet up tonight at the river". "Sure but what about bedtime?" "Oh right we'll we could sneak out there together and tell each other about how we have been." So later that night we both snuck out to the river to meet up to talk. So I started heading down there when I heard something behind me so I looked back and saw nothing because it was pretty foggy out. So I just continued walking then I heard a groan and mumbling I thought it was just the wind at first but it wasn't, whenever I turned around I saw a dark shadow in the fog running at me so then I started running and kept running from whatever it was. About the time I look back I ended up tripping, falling, and hitting my head. When I woke up I was still where I had fallen but I was surrounded by people. They weren't just any people, they were doctors that were acting strange. I tried to move my body because it felt stiff but I couldn't. When I looked down I was strapped to the doctor's table trying to get out of the straps and off the table then they put me in a large van and took me to a military site.
