Love At Lust

" Black Coffee , no sugar" .
A crisp deep voice instructed
I turned to look at the customer but there was nobody .a fifty dollar note was on the table .

I looked at the note curiously and got  the oder done I left the the coffee on the counter and took out change to put beside it .
"Keep it " the same voice said , before I looked up he was gone

What the?...
I finished my shift and locked the coffee shop.

It was very dark out and the crisp coldness of the atmosphere was what made it creepier than it usually is

I ran to the car feeling watched and drove to my shared apartment
I live with my best friend Hayley
,   she normally spends her time at her boyfriends house , whom I don't even know...

As much as it bothers me , I respect her privacy so I don't really ask about him .

Shockingly I found her sleeping on the brown leather couch , with her right  hand in a Cheeto bag

I locked all doors and went to my room .
The baby blue walls were filled with mail from my dead parents .
slowly wiping away tears that were now streaming down my face due to the painful reminder
of my loss.
Changing my uniform in the messy  bathroom , never  knew make up could make such a mess 😂.
I passed the open window to my bed I stopped dead in my tracks , I saw a mans shadow for a split second .
I could feel my face turn pale .
Freaking out , I quickly closed the window ...

Its 3am and I still cant sleep , I've been tossing and turning and looking at the window  in fear

Am I going to get killed? , just like that? , just like  my parents ?
Out of random ?or selected? Who would want to kill me ? I've only been living in LA for a month and going to art school n working at the  A&J coffee shop
I have no enemies , at least not any that I know of ...
My brain would not stop ...
Frustrated and tired I took a sleeping pill

I hope tomorrow will be better
