We got home too late to call Eric, so I had to wait until morning. It was pure torture. "I need to see you so bad," I told him when he picked up the phone. "When can I come over," he asked. "Why aren't you here already," I laughed. "I'll be there as soon as I can," he tells me and hangs up. I jump up and down and sequel like a little girl. This is the only Christmas present I want. I wait impatiently by the door. I let him in and pounce on him. My arms go around his neck and my lips crash on his. When his tongue touches mine, I moan. This is what I needed. This is all I need. Eric pulls away and takes off his coat. I toss it on the coat rack and pull him inside.

"Where is everyone," he asks looking around. "Am I allowed to be here." I pull him upstairs and close my door. "Destiny," Eric says with obvious disapproval. "I called my mom to ask. Faith is here. It's fine Eric." I push him down on bed and climb on top of him. "I missed you so much." I slide onto him and wrap my arms around him. He returns the gesture by holding me tightly to him. I snuggle into him and breath. "I love the way you smell." He kisses my ear. "I can't see or smell anything strawberry without thinking of you," he tells me as he sniffs my hair. A flash of green eyes. "Thanks to you my new favorite smell is strawberries," the voice buried in my memory says. I closed my eyes tight trying to shut out the memory. Eric runs his hands through my hair. I focus on how nice it feels. I block out everything except the way Eric feels.

When the two of us finally pull apart, I remember the gift I have for him. I jump up and hurry to my closet. I pull out the box that has his mom's scarf in it along with the gift I bought him. He smiles at me and sits up. I hand him the box and wait for him to open it. He pulls out the black converse all stars and looks at me. "How did you know," he asks smiling. "I heard you talking to Joey by your locker a couple weeks ago. You had mentioned you were saving up to buy them. I was worried you might buy them before we exchanged gifts, so the receipt is in the box," I tell him. He pulls me to him for a kiss. "Thanks Destiny. I love them."

Eric reaches into his backpack and pulls out a small wrapped box. I kiss him before I even open the present. I unwrapped the small box and open the lid. I pull out the dainty gold charm bracelet. My eyes go to the charms attached. The first one I see is mistletoe. "He takes the bracelet and holds it over our heads. "Mistletoe so I can kiss you." He softly kisses me. "You don't need mistletoe to kiss me Eric. You are welcome to kiss me anytime you want." He kisses me again. He hands the bracelet back to me. The next charm is the number 85. "For the year we met," he tells me when he sees the confused look on my face. I lean over and kiss him. "You're very romantic." I find the last charm he bought for the bracelet and pale. My heart sinks. I don't why, but the sight of the heart disturbs me. He notices my reaction. "What's wrong," he asks me. "I don't know." He looks at the heart and say's "You have my heart." I look at him and cry.

He pulls me to him and holds me while I cry. "I'm sorry," I tell him. I try to push the thoughts of the heart charm out of my head. "I'm sorry if my gift upset you. When you couldn't find your old bracelet, I thought it would be the perfect gift," he says. I pull away and look into his beautiful eyes. "It is perfect. I love the gift. It's the sweetest thing ever Eric. I more than really like you," I tell him. "I more than really like you to Destiny." I let Eric put the bracelet on my wrist and smile. "It's beautiful. Thank you." All thoughts of the negativity I felt about the heart are gone. Pushed from my mind for now.

I pull Eric to me and kiss him. My tongue circling his tongue. I pull his shirt over his head and run my hands down his back. He trails kisses down my neck. I stop him so I can pull my shirt off. His eyes take in my cream-colored bra. Eric trails kisses between my chest. I pull him back up to me. I'm about to kiss him when I hear a noise coming from Faith's room. I had told her Eric was allowed to come over and she had promised to stay in her room. I was glad she didn't insist on babysitting us. I slide out from under Eric and hand him his shirt as I put mine back on. "I forgot she was here," I tell him. We fall back on my bed fully clothed. It's not long before we pick up where we left off only with all our clothes on
