"Sorry I'm late, Mr Aizawa! My train was delayed! I promise it won't happen again!" I said crashing in through the doors of class 1A, bowing like crazy. I looked around at all of the startled faces of my new classmates. Oops...
I was a couple of days late to school as I had just moved from London a few days ago to be closer to my grandparents. Our flight out of Gatwick airport had been delayed for 12 hours due to a tornado smack bang in the middle of the route the plane would have taken meaning we hadn't had enough time to unpack and get settled in. Stupid planes. I could've just used my quirk to get us all there but mum said that it was "illegal" to use your quirk without a licence in Japan. That was, in fact, a lie. The real reason was because she gets travel sick in my portals and sometimes ends up puking.
Right now, I was stood at the front of the classroom a slight pink blush dusted on my small cheeks. As much as I don't want to admit this, I was a little embarrassed. "Well then, Miss Nakamura. You'd better take a seat then." Mr Aizawa stated in his classic monotoned voice. I smile, bow and make my way near the back of the room and sat behind a tall, ash blonde boy.
Rummaging through my bag, I realised I left my pencil case at home in a box. Shit, I thought. Now I'm gonna have to ask someone for a pen. I gently tapped the boy I front of me's shoulder. "What?" He grunted turning to face me with a slight look of annoyance on his face. "Uh sorry to bother you but... Uh... Do you mind if I borrow a pen please? I think I left mine at home." I said smiling nervously. At this point the boy turned back to face the blackboard. Damn. As I thought I had been completely ignored, I was caught off guard when the boy mumbled to me "Catch," and tossed a spare pen over his shoulder. I focused my ghostly, grey eyes on the pen and it froze mid air. I stood up, triumphant, walked over to the pen and plucked it out of the air. I then returned to my seat whispering a thank you to the blonde.
At the end of class, everyone stood up and left and I was the last person in the room. I swung my bag onto my back and walked towards the large door. The blonde boy appeared out of nowhere and leant against the door frame with his hand out. "Pen," he demanded. "Oh yes sorry." I fumbled with the breast pocket of my blazer. I stopped. "Actually could I borrow it for the rest of the day and give it back in P.E.?" My eyes squinted slightly as I, for the second time today, displayed a nervous smile on my face. "Sure." And he started to walk away Okay then. I called down the hall. "I didn't catch your name!"
"It's Bakugou Katsuki." He replied still plodding away.
"I'm Nakamura Sachiko. It was nice to meet you Bakugou!" And with that I turned on my heel and skipped down the corridor to my maths class.~+•+~
Thanks for reading!!! This is my first book and I hope you liked it. Comment if you want more and if you have any ideas. I'm still not sure who I want Sachiko to end up with so if you have any suggestions again please comment them.
