Weird Feeling

      It was summer break and Sero went to go visit his dad. He was always cooped up in the dorms so he didn't really get to visit his dad. His dad was all that he had. The rest of his family hates him because of his dad, his dad was a tough man that always thought he was right. He didn't live that far from the dorms so he walked to his dad's house. He walked in and slipped off his shoes and socks, he heard a slam as a grown woman with bleach blond hair and only a pair of jeans and a hot pink bra on, grabbed her stuff and stormed out of the house and called him an asshole.
    
    Sero wasn't that suprised, that happened a lot, his dad stormed out of his room with only boxers on, "babe come back!" He said with a slight edge to his voice. "FUCK YOU THEN BITCH!!" He said yelling and walking to the kitchen to look through the window as he saw her drive off. Sero was frozen, he knew that of he moved or talked he would get hit. His dad liked to take out his anger on him. His dad threw a glass cup at the window, breaking it sending glass shards all over the kitchen, making his hand bleed.
    
     His dad stormed into the bathroom slamming the door behind him. Sero could hear the click of the door as it locked. He knew he could move now, he also knew that his dad probably wasn't coming out of there any time soon. Sero decided to go to his room, once he got to his room he took off his backpack and plopped down on his bed with a sigh. "Why?" He said exhausted. He teared up at the though of how his life was before mom left, his life was perfect before his mom left.
    
     He would be so happy, the house would always be picked up, dinner would always be home-made, the laundry would always be done and ironed, and he would get showered with  kisses and hugs. His mom always loved cleaning, but once his dad started picking fights with her for no reason she packed her stuff, said bye to Sero, and left. Sero was ten when that happened and nothing has ever been the same.
    
     He heard a knock at his door snapping him back into reality, he got up and looked through the window as the black of night made everything more depressing, he opened the door. There was his dad with his angry expression on his face. "What are you doing here?" His dad said with an angry scowl wiped across his face." I don't know, I-I thought I would c-come and visit since it's the first day of summer break." Sero said slightly scared but he smiled trying to make himself feel a little bit better. All the sudden, he felt a pain in his stomach as he realized his dad had punched him really hard in the stomach sending him to the floor. His dad started kicking him while he was on the floor. His dad stopped and picked Sero up by his hair. Seros nose, brow bone, and lip were bleeding and he was aching all over, his dad just stared at him.
    
     Sero darted towards the door in a full on sprint. He made it to the door before his dad had time to think. He ran out the door, he could hear the pitter patter of his feet on the cold concrete as he ran. He remembered that he had his phone in his pocket, thankfully, so he could call his friend. Once he couldn't see his house any more he called his friend, Kaminari. Sero and Kaminari have known each other ever since they were born, there mom's are best friends.
    
     Kaminari has his driver's license so he went to pick up Sero. "Dude, what happened?" Kaminari asked as Sero got into the car. "It's a long story that includes my dad, I don't even know why I went there to visit. I thought things would be different since he was supposed to be going to therapy, but apparently not." Sero said tearing up. "Wow" Kaminari said, "d-don't cry... Y-you can stay at my house tonight and we can have the best sleepover ever!" Sero chuckled a little bit as he looked at Kaminari with a smile on his face.
    
     Once they get to Kaminaris house he starts cleaning the blood off of Seros face. Sero has a weird feeling when Kaminari gets close to his face. ' what the heck is this feeling, like there's butterflies in my stomach' Sero thought to himself. "Done," Kaminari said with a smile on his face. "Thanks" Sero said while hugging Kaminari. Once they stopped hugging, Kaminari said," you tired?" He said while yawing and stretching his arms over his head. "Yah, where am I sleeping?" Sero said with a curious look on his face. "You can sleep on the floor or I could sleep on the floor and you could get my bed." Kaminari said with a smile still on his face. Sero chose to sleep on the floor he couldn't sleep though, he kept on thinking about his dad.
    
     He didn't sleep all night, so he was super tired. On the other hand, Kaminari was energized and ready to start the day. "Dude, are you ok?" Kaminari said with a concerned look on his face as he sat on the floor next to Sero. Sero got teary eyed as he thought about his dad, his mom, and his life. "Well... It's just been hard ever since-" He got cut off by Kaminari as he hugged him tight. Sero started crying into Kaminaris shoulder. They hugged for what felt like an eternity but it was actually a few minutes. Kaminari pulled away.
    
     Sero wiped his tears away giggling a little bit. " How about we go get something to eat, where do you want to eat?" Kaminari said with a sincere smile on his face. "Um... How about WacDonalds?" Sero said. "Ya, let's eat there." Kaminari said while getting up and slipping on his shoes. Sero followed suit, sliding on his shoes. Once they got home, Sero and Kaminari decided to go back to the dorms to hangout with everyone else there.
