holly woke up to a suprize. her parents were hovering over top of her. ¨yaaahhh!!!!! ¨ she yelled, freaked out. ¨we are taking you to the pet store! ¨ both of her parents said at the same time ¨ok. what are we getting?¨ holly said. ¨we are getting a new pet! ¨ says her parents. ¨yes! ¨ replies holly. ¨lets go!¨

when they got to the pet store, holly says ¨i want an owl please.¨ she hopes there is one in store! ¨an owl? sorry, we dont have any.¨ replies the lady behind the desk. ¨but we have parrots, fish, cats, dogs and bunnies, and also a bunch of hamsters.¨ ok. fine. a parrot please¨ holly says. ¨sure. that will be 39. 99 plus tax. ¨ the lady replies. ¨hey, do you REALLY want an owl?¨ whispers the lady. ¨yeah,¨ says holly. ¨then come with me,¨ the lady answers. holly follows the pet store lady into a secret room inside the parrot section. ¨this is all we got for owls. only one. but you would have to be careful with this one. very careful.¨ the lady says. ¨why?¨ holly asks. ¨because it has magical powers,¨the pet store lady answers. ¨it will fly away and put a curse on you and your parents if it senses evil in you. so try not to be evil or do anything to do with evil. however, if you do good things and work hard to be the best person you could be, it will love you until the end.¨ holly thought for a moment. does she think she is evil? no. has she sinned? yes. multible times. but only when she was really little and still learning. she hasn't sinned since she was four. she is twelve now, so she should be good. ¨i will take it.¨ holly answers. i guess there was an owl in store.
