Some time had passed and the image of the building plummeting towards the pavement like it had been dragged to hell by the devil himself continued to torment me by playing over and over in my head, the stress was getting to me. And the screeching of the building reaching its final resting place upon the destroyed pavement revolved around my head and ringing in my ears reminding me of the destruction and disturbing silence of the city. I was glad the leave the almost evil presents that was cast over the city. It has been a couple hours since I was standing watching the spectacle in front of me over that look out. By now I have just been following the freeway that had slowly grown smaller in size as I keep traveling, I had made it to the country on a small road. Surrounded by miles on flat land all fenced into equal blocks and after the land was huge majestic mountains, so far in the distance they were coloured blue. If was getting late and I could see the sun setting in front of me. I needed to find a shelter to take refuge and rest for the night because once morning comes I must continue to move forward. I stopped to seek a place for shelter and surly in the distance a small far house surrounded by the orange fluorescent sun. It wasn't far away and it looks as it was abounded in a hurry. I gathered all the energy left and began a slow jog towards the small house. It was getting dark quick. By the time I had gotten to the small farm house it was just about pitch black. I pushed open the small rusted hate that had seemed to be there for years just waiting for something or someone. It made a large creaking sound as it swung slowly open. I stood steering down the small eroded and cracked door that had aged with time and the weather beating on it time after time taking its tole with every drop, every partial of dust and every gust of wind taking little by little away day and night. An endless chain leading to certain death for something so innocent. It started to rain heavily. My wiry body seemed to slowly drift towards the door, with every step got harder, as I slowly faded away in the rain. It feels good, it felt as though the rain was cleansing my body and cleaning my sole bringing light back and embracing my inner being. I turned the handle on the door, it swung open. My feet let go from under me and my lifeless body fell to the floor and my eyes slowly shutting letting me see one short glimpse of the room I had come to be in.
...2 days had past...
Light slowly leaked in through my eyes. The image of the room I had inhabited was becoming clear. The storm had passed. It was quiet once again. The silence doesn't bother me anymore, I'm use to it now... I stood on my weak legs and searched the room I'm in, observing everything for clues...
