27 - Childish

"ShiJieeee, I missed your lotus pork rib soup so so so so much! Ahhh, I wanted to drink it everydayyyy" Wei Ying whined.

Yanli giggled while patting Wei Ying's head. Meanwhile, ZiXuan and Lan Zhan were frowning. "Childish..." ZiXuan muttered.

Wei Ying sent a death glare to Jin ZiXuan while Yanli simply laughed. "Childish..." a voice muttered again but this time, it came out from Hanguang Jun's mouth.

Wei Ying's glare immediately turned to Lan Zhan, who muttered that out of jealousy. Wei Ying didn't even whine so much with him! Not fair!

Wei Ying went up to Lan Zhan, about to say 'Well, this childish person doesn't want everyday is everyday anymore!'

Before he could, Lan Zhan held his arm "But I love you" Wei Ying's frown immediately disappeared and his face blushed red.

Lan Zhan slightly smiled at how cute his Wei Ying is, internally squealing like a fangirl. Or fanboy. Lan Zhan was about to kiss his Wei Ying when a cough sounded from behind.

XiChen noticed his younger brother shooting hearts at his lover and made a cough before his younger brother did something in front of everyone.

"A-Jie, look at him! He and his brats are all trouble!" Jiang Cheng went up to complain while Yanli was playing with the three of them.

"A-Cheng, don't call them that" Yanli gently said and Jiang Cheng hmphed "But they are! Especially this guy here. Brat!"

Lan Xing turned to Jiang Cheng and stuck out his tongue. Yanli giggled "A-Cheng, but you're his favourite uncle"

"Who hits their favourite uncle!" Jiang Cheng complained and Lan Xing poked Jiang Cheng's leg with his word again. "Aish!" Jiang Cheng hissed while Yanli giggled.

"Where's A-Ling?" Yanli asked and Jiang Cheng rolled his eyes "Where else? He is with his A-Yuan. Seriously, that brat melted and became glue!"

Yanli chuckled, already expecting her son to be with his lover. Just then, Jin Ling and SiZhui came over. "Father! Mother!" Jin Ling greeted as he hugged his parents.

"Uncle, Auntie" SiZhui also greeted before greeting the others. Jin Ling wriggled his brows at the three kids who giggled.

Suddenly, Jin Ling knelt on the floor, before SiZhui, taking him by surprise. Flowers kept falling from above, making a beautiful scene.

Well, more beautiful if the flowers were natural. However, they were thrown by the three kids standing on stools, making a cute and funny scene instead.

"A-Yuan, I love you so much and I only ever want to be with you. It's been almost 7 years since we dated and I know you wanted Uncle Wei to be here for your wedding.

Now that he is back and everyone is here, will you marry me and spend the rest of your life with me?" Jin Ling sincerely asked.

He had been asking people for tips to propose the moment Wei Ying returned. Feeling prepared and not wanting to waste anymore time, Jin Ling got on his knees.

SiZhui chuckled at the three kids who ran off to get more flowers before coming back and throwing more, then turned his attention back to Jin Ling.

"Yes, A-Ling, I want to spend the rest of my life with you too" SiZhui replied with a wide smile and Jin Ling happily jumped onto SiZhui, cheering loudly.

"Finally!!! Even JingYi and ZiZhen have gotten married already!!" Jin Ling happily exclaimed. SiZhui chuckled as Jin Ling hugged him tightly again.

"Ge Ge, Congratulations!" The triplets said at the same time and SiZhui bent down to hug the three of them. Lan QiRen was watching from the side with a small smile.

However, seeing Jin ZiXuan backhugging Yanli, Lan Zhan backhugging Wei Ying and XiChen backhugging Jiang Cheng, he couldn't help but feel slightly jealous.

He retired back to his room and sighed. Jin GuangShan... Years ago, Jin GuangShan came to chase after him, asking him to give him a chance.

Lan QiRen who felt that it was improper to be involved in same gender relationship and had to manage the clan rejected it, though feelings started bubbling in him from the constant pestering.

In the end, Jin GuangShan got forced into an arranged marraige and became well-known as a womanizer.

A year back, Jin GuangShan's wife passed away and he retired from being a clan leader. Rumours spreaded that he regretted his wife's death and stopped fooling around.

Few days back, Lan QiRen received a letter from him, asking him if he is ready to be with him and elope together. Just the two of them, travelling about, doing what they couldn't.

Since he got married, he didn't want to have a special woman. Hence, he had affairs all over. He won't say that he didn't enjoy it but the purpose was because he didn't want any woman to be special to him. But he wanted Lan QiRen as his special man.

And Lan QiRen couldn't help but feel touched. He was always jealous seeing Jin GuangShan with his wife and hearing about him fooling around.

But now that he is no longer tied down he seriously, sincerely asks Lan QiRen if they can do what they couldn't. And that he'll wait for Lan QiRen till the day he dies.

"Maybe... it isn't such a hard decision to make..." Lan QiRen muttered as he reread the letter over and over again, imagining Jin GuangShan in front of him, holding his hand out.

(Well, I searched up Lan QiRen ship and the first thing that popped out was Lan QiRen and Jin GuangShan. Since I made Jiang FengMian reconcile with Yu ZiYuan, I guess this ship works out here :D)
