It was a quiet day, cold but deadly silent. I knew something was different, something was off I could feel it... but what? It wasn't till mid-day I even realized he was gone. I was so paranoid that I ran upstairs to knock on Ethan's door to see if he was awake, but what I should've been worried about was if he was there at all... he wasn't. After a few knocks without answer, I opened the door forcefully. "Eth?" I asked concern washed over my sharp features as soon as I realized he wasn't there. "Maybe he uh... um, m-maybe he stayed somewhere, but without telling me? He wouldn't do that, right? Maybe he did tell me and I just didn't see, yeah that's it".
I whipped my phone out of my back pocket so fast I almost dropped it. I opened my phone to Ethan's contact and to my dismay there was nothing. No call, no text, nothing, "D-did I do something wrong" my head immediately went to a bad place of blame, but this time it was towards himself. "I-is he m-mad at me?" I asked in uneven breaths. I decided I should call him, maybe we could sort this out. I pressed the call button and almost immediately got a response. "I was wondering when you would call, Mr. Fischbach"
I stared blankly at the wall, my head shooting up as I heard that voice... that's not my Eth! "Where is he?" I asked in an aggressive tone, no one takes my Eth and gets away with it. "Oh, Ethan~ Darling, he's right here" I could just hear the smirk in her voice. "Oh god, don't tell me you-" I trailed off gaining her response. "Don't worry Marky, I have your precious Ethan, he's safe, he won't go anywhere." A boiling rage consumed me and I was pissed. "Where is he? What did you do to him?!" I yelled I couldn't calm down I was furious. "Oh, how rude of me" her voice went flat. "He's at my house" her voice went flat. "Wait A-Abigail?" If she even laid a fucking finger on her I swear to god. "The one and only, you took something I loved away from me, now it's my turn to do the same. If you love him or even so much as care for him I know you'll come running, and if you don't. I'll know I got the wrong guy." The line went quiet and before I even realized what I was doing I ran out the door, grabbing my car keys on the way out. I ran to the car, quickly starting it and driving as fast as I could to what I hoped was still Abby's house. "I'm coming Eth, I'm coming".
