Rachel's pov (9:00 am, June)
I wake up, and I realize that my arm is on Ira's heart. I blush. Ira looks very peaceful. Awww, he's cute when he sleeps. I go downstairs to make pancakes. Hmmm. I wonder if they fed him well in Splendorius, I think. Then I realize that the answer was probably no. I feel bad for him, seeing as he didn't really have much of a family in Splendorius. If he asks, I would definitely let him stay here until my parents return from their vacation. I decide to make blueberry pancakes. Then I think, Wait, does he use magic to keep his clothes clean? And if so, does he not have any, uhh, normal-looking clothes? I know! I'll take him clothes shopping! We can go to the Clover mall! I'll invite the girls. I quickly finish the pancakes and I put them on plates. I get my phone out and I hear footsteps on the stairs. "Morning Ira," I say. "Good morning," He says. He sees the two plates I set out and he sits at the kitchen island. "Um, what are these?" he asks. Not in a rude, What-is-this-gross-stuff way, just in a curious way. "Oh, those are pancakes!" I say with a smile, "You'll like 'em, trust me". I watch as he tries to pick it up and I laugh. "You use the fork and knife to cut it, silly," I say. He blushes a bit. "Sorry. All we had for food In splendorous was Bel's disgusting octopus balls and-". He stops, his eyes wide. "Ira? what's wrong?" I ask, concerned. "Bel and Marmo have probably noticed that I've been gone for a while. If they come looking for me they might just drag me back home," he says worriedly. "Wait, where is your home now?" I ask. " It's on an island in Splendorius. It's far away from the city," he says. "Well can't you just tell them that you don't want to go back?" I ask. "They'd probably just drag me back there. They're not really 'evil' anymore, but their hearts have more darkness then mine does right now. they're 'healing'. but they kinda wanna keep our squad together." He said, looking away from me. I could tell he was hiding something.
Ira's Pov
Okay, so most of what I just said is true. But the other reason is that if they found out that I was hanging with a Glitter force girl, they would tease me forever. I start eating my "pancakes" as she called them. I take my first bite. "Wow! this is awesome!" I exclaim. "Thanks! I'm glad you like it! So I was thinking that we should go shopping with the girls. You know, to buy you new clothes and stuff." she says. I pause. Hmm, maybe I should get some 'normal-looking' clothes. "Um, sure," I say, nodding my head.
Rachel's Pov
I get my phone out and I send a message to the group chat, While Ira eats his pancakes
{Me: Hey guys, wanna head 2 the Clover mall 2 shop?
Maya: Totally! Is Ira coming?
Me: Yup! He needs new clothes.
Regina: He rlly does. I'll come!
Clara: I'd love 2 come! wut time?}
I look at the time on my phone. It's about 10:00 right now
{Me: How bout 11?
Maya: 11 is gr8! I'll B there!
Clara: same!
Me: Mac? Natalie?
Mac: sure, Y not.
Natalie: I still don't trust Ira, but I guess I can come. Dina is coming 2.
Me: Perf! C U guys there!}
I put my phone away. " We are meeting at the mall at 11:00," I say to Ira. "Okay. Want me to teleport you there?" He asks. "Yeah sure, but I'm gonna eat and change first," I reply. I eat my pancakes and head upstairs to change. I change into a slightly cropped baby blue tee and a pair of simple jean shorts. "Are you ready to go?" I ask, grabbing my canvas shoulder bag. "Yep. here take my hand, and we'll teleport," he says, holding his hand out. I take his hand and we both blush a little. Then we teleport away.
I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while. I know this chapter doesn't have much lovey stuff going on, but the next one has a little, and the one after that has a lot. I would really like some feedback on my story! Now I know a lot of authors like to give themselves nicknames. So I shall call myself Muffin! Thanks for reaaaaading! <3
