Chapter Fifteen

Now that Yamacha was out and badly injured all the others had a new found heaviness on them. Could they really win? Was this competition going to prove that Vegeta was right and they really were just sloppy Earthlings and low ranking sayians?

Goku flew to Yamacha swiftly and yelled back to the others. He had to get Yamacha to Bardock, at least he would be able to put him in the Saiyan healing chamber that would heal him over time.

He flew off with Yamacha leaving Piccolo, Tien, Chiatzu and Krillen alone as the primary "earthlings" left to fight.

After Goku had left, Vegeta eyed all those who were still there. He looked at the sayians still watching from a distance and at the young females glaring at him. He smirked.

"Well, now that you have had a chance to see what power the weakest my side has to offer. Are you sure you want to continue and have me let Nappa fight you?" Vegeta asked staring directly at Piccolo.

"Yes. I am not afraid of your power." Piccolor countered fixing his gaze now to Nappa.

"Haha, good, I haven't been able to have fun in a while." Nappa said while throwing off most of his clothes.

Krillen stood back. Piccolo saw him and scoffed. "If you are not strong enough to stand straight into a battle, you are not strong enough to enter it."

Krillen looked up somewhat upset and about to say something. He stopped however knowing Piccolo was right no matter how much he disliked him. He went to the hill side to watch.

"Ha, you have already lost one of your men and the fight has not even begun!" Vegeta started in between laughs.

Bulma was giving Krillen a lecture he would not soon forget on the hillside and she ended it with a hit on his head. She called him a coward and then cried after remembering that Yamacha had been badly injured. Chichi tried to calm her along with Krillen who would always forgive her sometimes mean words.

The sayians watched intently and began to finally start small talk after Goku was gone with Yamachas unconscious body.

"Do you still think that Kakorant is going to win?" Raditz asked Turles who was standing beside Tarble.

"I do actually. We haven't even got to see the both of them yet due to Vegetas game. I think he is either stalling or he is letting his ego take over. Both would be a sign of weakness that Kakorant doesn't have." Turles answers not looking at Raditz.

"Honestly I was thinking the same thing." Tarble mumbles which surprised both the sayians.

"You think so too? You seemed so confident in Vegeta earlier, why the sudden change?" Raditz asked curiously as he felt his hundred dollar bet confidence grow small.

"Well, in a good battle you just fight. Spar. See who's strength reigns supreme then move on. Vegeta started today's battle with an attack on Kakorant' home, something he takes pride in. That was low and the only reason I could see my brother doing such a thing as that would be that he is trying to either distract Kakorant to weaken him in their battle, or he is just so set on his titles and ideals that he can't stand thinking that someone believes in something he views as pointless. Both mean, he is starting to become less confident." Tarble aswered watching his brother on the field.

"So you think he will lose?" Turles asked with a smile on his face, happy to know he was not the only one that believed in Goku.

"I did not say that. I just think this battle is going to be a lot closer than we anticipated if what you say of Kakorants power is true." Tarble finished looking kind of nervous.

They all let silence mix between them again. Nappa had gotten himself ready for a fight and was yelling rather rude and unnecessary things to his opponents. He was showing his truly loud and boastful nature.

Piccolo was annoyed with it.

"I came down here to fight. Is that what I am going to do, or do I have to listen to this noise all day?" Piccolo asked through gritted teeth.

"You will fight." Vegeta said looking seriously at Piccolo.

"Ready." Nappa said readying his stance.

"Set" the other fighters added all in position.

With one last second Vegeta smirked.
"Go."

Hi everyone, I am so sorry for not updating. Honestly I had gotten distracted with all the online schooling and stuff that had taken over after Covid 19 started closing things down. I am going to try to add new chapters every week from now on and am still working on a set day for updates. I hope everyone is doing well and that you like the story so far.
