"Ughh, Ham you fart sniffer did you have too hit it over the fence!" Squints screamed running over too where Ham hit that ball. "Yeah yeah , now we got too go get a new ball." Yeah yeah threw his glove at Ham. "You guys wanted the heater so, I gave it to you." Ham pointed at the fence. Everybody kept screaming at each other. "Guys shut up. Dig into your pockets let's combined our money." Benny Checked his pockets to pull a piece of gum still in the wrapper and 25 cents. Everybody else got out there money and combined it. "Me and yeah yeah will go get the ball." Benny said after running as fast as he could, yeah yeah ran the fastest he has ever ran in his life from how fast Benny was. Finally yeah yeah caught up to Benny who was already going to grab a ball. "Man...that...was...a workout." Yeah yeah said between breathes. Benny looked at yeah yeah as he was panting lying down on the floor, he chuckled a little then went too go pay for the baseball, they heard a ding at the front door. "Yo, that woman right there is a doll." Benny looked at yeah yeah, then back at the cashier. She payed for the baseball and they both walked out, "Benny wait you got to let me talk to that girl, man did you see her ." yeah yeah said looking back inside. "No yeah yeah, we got a game to play. They all are probably waiting for us back there." Benny kept walking, he turned around to see yeah yeah walking back inside. Benny rolled his eyes and jogged inside to grab the small boy who was swoozing over a girl. Benny opened the door and went over to yeah yeah he grabbed yeah yeah's arm to soon make eye contact with some girl with some Nike spandex and Nike air shirt and white air forces, Benny looked her up and down. Then shaked his thoughts. "Cmon yeah yeah, we've got a game waiting for us!" Benny shouted a little, "but...you have seen her man, you was just staring at her, at least let her and her friends come. Pleaseee Benny man!!" yeah yeah pouted. Benny rolled his eyes. "As long as they don't get in the way of us playing!" Benny walked out the door waiting for yeah yeah throwing the ball up in the air and catching it. The door dinged dedicated that somebody walk out of it. Benny looked over to see yeah yeah, and the weird cheerleaders walk out the door. yeah yeah smiled and gave me a thumbs up. I shook my head and began to walk in front of them all. I felt somebody watching me from behind like it was burning two holes into the back of my neck, matter of fact my whole body. I just brushed it off to show that I didn't care. (Y/N POV) As my cheer squad kept talking to yeah yeah, the only thing I could focus on was the boy in front of us. He didn't seem to want us around one bit, I wonder why? Sooner or later we reached a place known to be called "the sandlot" once we did there was  7 other boys there. "Yeah yeah, what's up with the hot chicks coming here?" A chubby kid with freckles and reddish hair said. "Long story, Benny let them come." Yeah yeah shrugged going to pick up his glove and walking to second base. "Benny man, you let the hot chicks come! That's a surprise , good for you man!" The chubby kid slapped Benny's back. "No ham, I didn't want them to come. They are cheerleaders! You know baseball and baseball only is my thing, I didn't want them to come, yeah yeah wouldn't shut up about the chick that's niked out over there." Benny said slightly shouting. I felt a little hurt that I'm only known as a 'cheerleader' to him. "Oh, ohhh, that make a lot of sense." Ham laughed going back to catcher position. Benny rolled his eyes threw the ball to a darker kid who was the pitcher I'm guessing. (A/n >) I know what these positions are, I play softball 😂. "Hey, before you go to bat is that really all girls are to you, is cheerleaders just girls with pom poms? We are so much more then that." Benny slightly moved "look princess, you guys are cheerleaders. If your a cheerleader, you are I don't know your guys names." He said walking away to go next to the home plate. He looked at me then back at the pitcher, in a blink of an eye the pitcher pitched the ball then Benny hit the ball the hardest I've ever seen a person hit a ball. He ran so fast there was dust some how running behind him. He reached to home base as squints was just almost getting the ball, Benny touched home base. They all clapped for him. "Woah, that was-" I got cut off by ham, don't waste your time complimenting he never will and never has dated some girl before, well once but that's a longggg story." Ham walked over to Benny high fiving him. "y/n!! Come here." I turned around to see yeah yeah screaming for me. "Wassup, yeah yeah." I jogged towards him. "Ask Benny if you and your girl friends can play so we can have a real game!" He screamed. I smiled running over to Benny who was drinking water, "hey, Benny.." he slightly smiled. "Eh, yeah?" He didn't even look at me. "I was wondering if me and my friends can play so we can all have a real game?" I looked down, not knowing the answer would be " yeah, you guys can bat first." He got up and walked to short stop. "Guys!! Y/n and her friends are playing so we could have a game!" Benny shouted loud enough for them all to hear him. They all nodded and we got in batting order, first was Wendy. She went up to bat, she had a real thing for squints so made sure to wink at him before she got struck out. "You suckkk!" Squints shouted. "Shut up!" She shouted back smiling. I was last to bat. After everybody went to bat it was then my turn. I know a lot about baseball, my step dad has a huge collection of baseball stuff. I step up to the base, and got into my stance. He pitched it slow I just put my bat down and said "cmon, is that all you got?" He gave me a shocked look, "No! Do you want the heater!" "No! I want you to call it a ball! Goshh pitch is as hard as you can!" He smiled and throw the ball as hard as I've ever seen, I smacked the ball harder than Benny. I ran as fast as I could with all the boys running after the ball, as I ran I heard "woah" "that's the hottest thing I've ever seen..." and some drools here and there. I made it to home base. "I've never seen a girl play like that, matter of fact never seen a girl play at all!" Ham shouted. I smiled at Benny, he then smiled back. (After the game) we called it a day, I grabbed my things and started to walk out the gate. But I heard someone running behind me, "y/n, wait up!" I turned around to see Benny. But he wasn't the one who was calling me it was yeah yeah. "Wassup?" I asked. "Well you seem...really worked up on Benny, like he just magically will fall in love with you? Ya know, Benny hasn't dated since well never? I can't remember when he has, he really like baseball and probably will never get married because of it. Now if you like him, I recommend you move on. He's really hard to get, he doesn't play hard to get. He just doesn't like anybody except his friends and family." He said looking down, "look man, I get it, he's into baseball. But me and him just met." I looked back at Benny, who seem to not care about anything in the world just feeling the breeze. "yeah yeah, maybe, he just hasn't found the right one yet. Since he doesn't date maybe he doesn't find connections until he finds 'the one'" I sighed. Yeah yeah sped up walking and with that leaving me and Benny walking quietly. But Benny broke the silence, "your really good at baseball." He smiled. "Well thanks, Benny boy" I hit him on the shoulder laughing. He just giggled, "I know this is a personal question, but, why is the only thing you focus on...baseball?" I looked down. "Well y/n, I've loved baseball, my dad passed away...he was a baseball player, he always took me to his games, let me hit a couple balls. I never gave up his dream, I'm here to finish what he started...and I won't stop until I do." He looked down, "oh, my dad passed away too, I know how you feel. He was my best friend, my everything. I never really had a connection with my mom." I grabbed his hand, to lighten up his mood I asked him "wanna get ice cream?!" I shouted, "hell yeah!" We both ran to the ice cream shop still holding each other's hand. We ran up to the counter to order some ice cream. A few moments later we got the ice cream sat down and ate. "Well maybe you aren't so bad, your actually um-" he didn't finish his sentence. "You don't have to say anything" I smiled at him. "Hey, do you and your friends...maybe wanna come to the sandlot tomorrow. And maybe me and you could get some more ice cream?" He smiled back. "Of course that sounds amazing! We should." Me and Benny talked forever is what it seemed liked. Everyday now me and Benny go to the ice cream shop and play baseball together. I can tell this is going to be the start of something great.

I really didn't have a idea of what this story was going to be about and this one is really bad but my next stories I'm most definitely going to improve.
