MY INTERVIEW STORY

Dinesh u have to complete your task by today as my project lead told me on phone call. I said OK sir I will finish it. I promised. I am an electrical designer and I work as a contract employee. Only few months left I am hardly seeking jobs through LinkedIn, Nakuri and other few sites. It's while I am busy with work a my phone rang from an unknown number. I picked up.

HI this is Priya from green hub consultancy may I speak to Mr. Dinesh

A women talked to me.

Yes mam I am dinesh here I answered

HI dinesh are you looking for a job change??? She asked

Yes mam I answered

Your job profile is matching with your requirements we will send your cv to our client if u got shortlisted we will contact you soon as she said

OK mam and the job is onroll I asked her.

Yes dinesh she answered

OK mam thank you. I cut the call. And the day went quite normal and finished my task.

THE NEXT DAY

it's 10 am in the morning I got a call from Priya the same green consultancy

HI dinesh your cv got shortlisted u have to atten your interview by tomorrow she said

Sure mam what about the salary package? I asked to her

We will discuss once u got selected from Haman. Ltd the office located in omr we I will send u interview details and job description to your mail ID she told

OK mam I will atten my interview only if my job profile match with requirements I will check with my profile with job description. I will send you confirmation mail to you I said to her

OK dinesh kindly check and revert back to us thank you and she cut the call.

I immediately open my mail and check the job description is match with my profile

i suddenly think about my problems in my life

i from poor family. I have loans. I have to pay my bills every month starting . if i got this job i may

get it bit from this pressure by getting on time salary. so i need to well prepare for the interview i should answer all the questions from the technical people

. i need time to prepare for interview i went to the project manager and told i am not feeling well sir i need to leave now .he smiled and said ok to me

It takes 2 hours to reach home from my office . i came out from the office which i a only a few months' job over there.

I feel excited that I am going to have a good life ahead for me . After 2 hours I reached home .i take few minutes rest the time was 1.pm .

once again i checked with the job description weather its match with my profile .and i called priya to confirm my job profile

is matched with the requirements . she said yes its matched that's why we shortlisted you . i feel relaxed now that am sure of getting

this job . I started to prepare for the interview with sincere heart. i lost half of my salary for today but i am ok with that good opportunity ahead on my way

i spend 10 hrs for my interview preparation .my parents reached home i told that i have and interview tommorrown from an mnc

i checked the company profile its multinational company in the field of oil and gas. i got confidance this time that am sure gonna

hunt it .

THE INTERVIEW DAY

this day somewhat its gonna change my life a thought pop up in my dream and thats wake me up by 8.am

i have to travel 100 kilometers for my interview from my home. i woke up and got refresh . i once again i gone to recall my technical knowladge.my phone rang its priya about job interview i answered the call 'hi dinesh hope you atten your interview today she told ' yes mam i answered i will i took leave today for that i said. ok "dinesh let me know once u attend the interview ok" she told

sure mam i will update you thank you i said and cut the call . i went to take fresh printout for my resume and call letter . i belived strongly that i gonna hunt my interview today .i came back home .

so yeah i got ready for the interview . my interview start by 2.pm its already 11.am i moved from the house.its a 3 hrs travel from home .i got the bus

my mind start imagining that my finical problem will be solve soon .i may give rest to my parents and i may get life partner i am already 30 now .

i reached chennai but still i have to travel 10 kilometers its cost of rs.150 to reach interview spot

atlast i reached there . the company in IT park.

i reached security gate to get gate pass. my mind feel good because its great place to work.I messaged to priya that reached interview spot . i got gate pass i lot of people working . the company in second floor . i reached to reception a beautiful girl sat there.i said her that i am here for interview .she gave me a form to fill it .the office has good atmosphere to work employees are seems formal and quit busy with their work . i filled the form she asked me to wait for while i said ok .

I don't know what gonna happen its 2.30 pm . i waited

till 3.00pm no one came. I went to the receptionist to check my interview status . After she listen to my words she went to meet the interviewer regarding my interview . she came back and said sir please wait for few minutes i said ok . and after a few minutes one north indian came towards me .

hi dinesh he said .i got up from my seat and shook our hands he told me to sit . I sat on my seat.

he didn't give an intro about him . and he asked me where is your resume. i gave my resume. he asked about my experience history i told about me

I thought they called me for an interview after they went through my resume . what the hell is happening

He started interviewing for design engineers which is not my role. i told sir i am designer i work on autocad i am not into this work i told . he said ok

and went inside of his place . i waited for 2 minutes and he came back to me and told ok dinesh

we will call you now u can leave . what i told sir i was shortlisted for an interview now you are saying me to leave without interviewing . he said i have your resume i will call you dinesh . the same word we said to me

sir i have travelled for 100 kilometer i take leave from my company its totally makes me upset sir .he didn't said anything and immediately he left the place.

MORAL

This shit experience happening to most of the job seekers. the requireters though we are like superman who can appear very easily . and the call for an interview without study the resume .i had spent 300rs and my one days salary from the current organization . this made me angry to write . without knowing proper details the consultancy forward resume from innocent job seekers and the recruiters not going through the resume shortlisting candidates

they easily saying we will call you later .

don't believe the systems still this kind of idiots

people existing . make sure if you got an interview for a job please go through the comapny and review about the company in google review. connect the company in linkedin with employees. ask them about the company. I had worst experience last year so don't waste your time and money for this kind of worthless people thank you. stay blessed
