[14] New Kid

*Three weeks later*

*Tuesday, March 1st*

Jungkook's POV:

I was sitting at lunch with Taehyung and his friends again since I.M sat somewhere else. It was the second day since school started back up, and I honestly couldn't be happier that the break was over. Hanging out with Jimin wasn't as fun as I thought it was gonna be. He was bratty the entire time, and just acted like a child whenever I tried to help him with something.

It was like I was babysitting, but not getting paid for it.

I looked over at his table, seeing that he was the only one sitting there today since the four girls weren't here. I was almost tempted to go over to see if he wanted company, but he looked okay and we weren't really on the best terms.

When I dropped him off at his house, all he said was a moody "bye" before slamming my car door and walking inside.

A little bit into lunch, everybody quieted down and I looked up to see what was going on. I internally gasped when I saw a new person walk in. He was tall, handsome, and charming. Every girl in the cafeteria most likely just died from seeing his face. He was around my height with black hair, and eyes that were just gorgeous, even from where I was sitting.

Was I absolutely whipped for someone in the span of two seconds? Yes.

That is until everybody's eyes followed the guy to the one, the only, Park Jimin.

Third person's POV:

"Hey, can I sit here?" Seonghwa asked Jimin. The boy nodded and he happily sat next to him. "I'm Park Seonghwa. Today's my first day here. What's your name?"

"Park Jimin." They sat there for a few moments and Seonghwa noticed everyone looking at them. Jimin snorted, earning the new boy's attention. "They're all staring because you're probably attractive. You should probably go sit somewhere else Seonghwa."

"Why? I wanna sit by you. You look... nicer than all of them."

"Trust me. You don't need to worry about that. They're gonna worship you, just as long as you don't sit by me. You'll get ridiculed if you do."

Seonghwa noticed sadness on Jimin's face and wrapped his arm around his back, hearing gasps from different people in the semi-loud lunch room. Jimin just continued eating his lunch, not caring about the skinship too much. After a little bit though, they started talking about random things: their favorite bands, solo artists, and what was happening in their lives.

It was the first time Jimin actually felt comfortable talking to someone about his life. When he talked to Jungkook, he was flustered because of how he felt about Jungkook. But when he talked to Seonghwa, they were just friends. That's what he considered him since he actually opened up about his accident a few years ago.

"Hey new kid!" Someone yelled from a few tables back, making Seonghwa turn his head to look at the guy standing up at a table. "My little sister wants to go out with you!" The girl sitting next to him smiled and did a flirty wave at Seonghwa, making him groan and turn back around, moving his arm to hold Jimin's hand. "So what? Are you a f*ggot or something?" (A/N: I do not condone that word at all y'all)

"Shut up and mind your own business!" Seonghwa snapped back at him. The lunch room was silent now except for a few murmers here and there.

"You're so dumb! You're gonna sit with the freak when you can be popular?!" Jimin pulled his hand away and scooted over so the other student wouldn't think they were dating. "Look at how upset you got when Jimin pulled away. I bet you are a f*gg-"

There was a loud whistle and everyone looked at where it came from. Of course. It was the king of the school himself. "Call him that again and I'll bash your face in. I'm gay and I have a boyfriend, you stupid bitch," Taehyung said from where he was sitting next to Jungkook on the other side of the cafeteria.

Everybody made 'oooh' sounds and the student sat back down, now embarrassed. The student's named Jihun, somebody that always tried to be the Kim Taehyung, but always failed of course. He was homophobic, sexist, and pretty much the more horrible version of I.M.

That was saying a lot since I.M probably only cared about himself.
