"Should we still hold a birthday for David ma?" Cosmo asked. He was busy stacking plates while his mother washed the dishes.
"I'm not sure. But I'll make some cookies, Though I'll have to go to the store. Do you mind house sitting while I'm out?"
Cosmo looked at his mother and smiled.
"Of course!"
Jane walked over and patted Cosmo's head.
"Looks like Bates and David are becoming friends, No?"
Cosmo looked in Jane's direction, His smile went to a slow frown.
'What's up with David's facial expression?'
He thought. His mother left while Cosmo continued with the dishes.
"What kid?" Boy asked Bates.
Bates looked at Boy.
"So you don't know him?"
Boy began to lose hope that Bates didn't know Borris.
"Describe him." Boy said shifting closer to Bates.
"He's.. Inhumanly gross."
Boy pictured Borris in his mind. He was definitely inhuman. But not so the gross part.
"Is his hair white?" Boy asked, staring at Bates with desperation.
"Yeah, his eyes too-" He paused and whipped his head around towards Boy's face causing Boy to jump.
"You know that kid?!" Bates stood up and glared at Boy.
"Well yes, he's my sprout growing in my room!"
"But he said he only knew a kid named Boy.. And a little girl named.. Girl."
"Girl?" Cosmo opened the sliding door and glanced at Bates and Boy.
"David fumbled his words and misspoken saying that Charlotte girls name was Girl."
Bates slowly brought his attention to Boy while smiling.
"So you're that Boy kid.."
Boy gulped.
"Yes..?" Cosmo's mouth widened with excitement while Bates' angry aura of madness could be felt from miles away.
"Wow! Your friends with my friend and I didn't even know, This is some news!" Cosmo jumped up and down.
"You're joking. You have your little fingers wrapped around my mother, don't you?! She's crazy for thinking you're this innocent guy! When really you're trying to free a trapped soul!" Bates yelled.
"Bates you got to, believe me, he told me you guys would help! If you help me free him. I'll leave you guys alone, I promise!" Boy pleaded.
Cosmo stared at Boy, Bates sat there confused.
"You promise?" Bates repeated, Cosmo looked at Bates.
Boy shook his head quickly.
"How do I know you're not playing some kind of trick?" Bates crossed his arms while glaring Boy down. Boy thought for a second, A quick verse for something to bring up so Bates will really believe him. He told everyone a lie so he really did find a reason for Bates to believe though Cosmo seemed fine with it. He'll bring something up about later if he talks about it again.
