Boy and Bates soon fell asleep and it was the same thing every day. Find something light to eat. Talk, Sleep. Repeat. Bates and Cosmo became closer to Boy and they have finally rested on the name 'David' for Boy.
"David?" Bates said He shook Boy awake until Boy raised his arms and grunted.
"What is it?.." Boy said rolled over.
"The snows gone!" Cosmo shouted. Boy threw his eyes wide open and looked out the broken window.
"It is!" Boy said with joy.
Boy threw open the door and rolled in the grass. He breathed in the fresh air and looked at the cloudy sky. Soon Cosmo and Bates were looking down at Boy, Cosmo was smiling while Bates had his little smirk plastered on his face.
"We can go to the park to try and find Borris?" Cosmo said with joy.
"I don't see why not, How about you David?" Bates looked at Boy. Boy sat up and plucked the small yellow flower. He stood up and nodded.
He couldn't stand to see Borris again. His voice, His laugh. The twins and Boy walked into a popular park, They sat on the park bench. Boy was frantically looking around to see if he could recognize one of the kids.
"Can I go on the swing Bates?" Cosmo looked at Bates. Bates glared at Cosmo.
"I don't care." Bates watched Cosmo run to the swing. Boy looked at Bates and frowned.
"Is he even here?"
Bates looked at Boy and sighed.
"You are not patient, are you. You have to wait until the crowd clears."
Boy shook his head and looked at all the little kids laughing and playing. He smiled a little and watched a little boy play with his sister.
"It's getting dark," Bates said, interrupting Boy's staring gaze at the kids.
"But we just woke up." Boy looked at Bates who was still staring at Cosmo.
"Yeah, it's dark like it's going to rain." Bates took his eyes off of Cosmo quickly to look at Boy then he looked back at him.
People around the park started leaving. The parents looked at Bates and Boy confused. But they soon all left.
"I'm going home, Are you coming?" Bates said standing up.
"Already?" Boy said frowning.
Bates nodded and walked over to Cosmo telling him that he was leaving. Boy ran over to Bates and put his hand on his shoulder.
"Bates, please! Look there's a tree, Can we stay a little bit longer?"
Bates looked at the tree and sighed.
"Fine.." Bates and Cosmo walked over underneath the tree and sat on the ground while Boy sat on the bench beside the tree.
"You're going to get rained on, David," Cosmo said looking at Boy.
"I know, It's okay." Boy said, smiling.
"I had fun on the swings, Bates, Why didn't you come?" Cosmo asked.
Boy was scanning the play area that was completely empty. He looked around to see a male. A raindrop hit his shirt, a few more than a lot.
It was raining and it was raining hard. Bates and Cosmo were even getting wet. Boy nervously looked at Bates and Cosmo. Cosmo was shivering from the cold air, Bates was staring at Boy with a frown on his face. Boy slowly turned his head back towards the park and looked at the yellow flower he'd plucked.
'Where are you Borris..' Boy said to himself.
He can't really be dead, can he?
