1999,
Nightwing is locked in battle with Deathstroke, and is badly hurt. Nightwing's suit is all torn up. Deathstroke was getting tired, but Nightwing finally fell on the ground, exhausted. Both are cut and bloodied. Nightwing's face is covered in blood from wounds and Deathstroke. Deathstroke had his chance, he made his move. Stabbing him straight through his heart, Nightwing spoke his final words.
"You'll pay for this one day..."
