The perez Mortuary accident

Benson Mason: Part 3!

A few minutes go by as Carlos and the last two present members of Squad Xeteroh grieve and take in what just happened to one of their own. Carlos pulls out his radio and begins scrolling through each channel, "What are you doing carlos?" Asked Benson. "I'm trying to get ahold of Roger or Leoh or the captain or something, to tell them not to come down here, it's too dangerous, but there seems to be no signal down here, damn it, we're on our own." Answered Carlos. Carlos and Benson begin arguing over what to do but Annette hears some sort of loud breathing and loud footsteps coming from the hallway but has no idea of the direction. The three become startled and jump quickly aiming their weapons at the door, when banging suddenly happens on the metallic door they barricaded earlier.

The three hear extremely loud roaring then shortly after, the items fling out of the way and the creature pushes the door off its hinges.
The team sees a man wearing a black fancy suit with gloves on and a fedora, standing about 5'9 in stature but also wearing shades, Carlos immediately thinks of the secret service, the guard that protects the president when he lays eyes on the man.

Luckily, neither of the team were in the doorway or they'd be seriously hurt. The creature seemingly freezes but in a very intimidating posture as he's breathing hard.

The creature whispers "Protect the H.R.O.T" very slowly. Then he roars a fierce and loud roar. The creature enters the room slowly but not all the way.

After five minutes, the creature approaches Annette slowly then she freezes in fear and confusion. The creature makes his way to punching range as he does an uncoordinated - brutish scoop punch but Annette flips over him.

The creature seems very dumb and brutish but shortly after the first attack dodged by Annette, the creature does a karate spin kick which Annette wasn't expecting but this knocks her all the way to the wall behind her. The room is the size of an average highschool basketball court. The kick was able to knock her out cold as it bashed her back on the wall and just from the impact also.

Benson ran over to Annette Patrick while the creature slowly turned his focus over towards Carlos. "C'mere you stupid son of a bitch, you'll pay for that!" Said by Carlos as he prepared himself for an attack by the inhuman creature. Carlos yells out "Benson  move Annette to a safe place, I'll distract and keep this bastard busy!" Then Benson agrees and Replies "Yes sir, I'll find you as soon as I find the perfect place!" Then Benson grabs Annette Patrick, he slowly checks outside but sees only a few zombies still remaining far down the hall, it was safe for them to run out the whole time.

Benson grabbed Annette and placed her on his shoulders and pulled out his pistol then ran left in the hall.

25 minutes earlier, Leoh is sitting next to Roger at the hospital, following orders, and is trying to contact Carlos Santiago, his team co-captain yet to no avail, Each effort ends in a bust and Leoh has no choice but to conclude his radio is busted. "Hey Roger, Try your radio, bro!" Asked Leoh with a distraught tone. Roger tries his radio but None of the team answers and it's pure static, the same result Leoh had. "Hey dude, I'll try to uhh, fix this thing!" Said Roger. "Yeah, yeah, I'll go ahead to check on the SWAT member, I'll go and see if he's awake yet." Leoh Answered as he attentively looked at men in lab coats walking by them.

Roger paid no attention to Leoh as he was fixated on fixing the private radios, Roger always had an obsessive and controlling personality when it came to devices and people in his life.

Once the two people were far enough away, Leoh used his stealth skills to follow them and the two walked all the way into a long and empty hospital corridor.

Taking cover around the corner of the hall, Leoh could overhear the two's conversation. The man says "Hey, did you hear?"; "No, hear what?" Answered the woman. The man replies "Well, a dope at our Perez lab broke one of our machines and guess what?". "What?" The woman asks with genuine ignorance. "A creature popped out and began infecting and killing a bunch of our scientists that were stationed there, HA, hilarious, now the place is rampant with atrocities and bullshit." The male scientist answered.
