"H-hi..."

"Hello, Hummels. Have a seat."

Kurt timidly sat down in front of the stranger. He'd already bitten his fingernails down to numbs and was simply playing with his hands.

"Why are you so nervous?"

"I'm not! I mean I am... but..."

"We would like to make an appointment." Burt cut in.

Kurt started to sweat resulting in Blaine rubbing circles on his back. "You can do this." He whispered.

Burt and the therapist continued to chat until she asked Kurt and Blaine to leave the room for a second.

"My dad's gonna spill all my secrets... He's gonna tell her I'm insane!"

"Come on, Kurt. No he's not."

"Then what are we doing here? I don't need therapy! I'm not mental!"

"Calm down, Kurt. This is only to help you. Someone that you can speak to when I'm not around."

"Wait, are you leaving?! No, Blaine you can't!"

"I'm not going anywhere, Kurtie. I'm gonna come with you to the sessions that I can as long as you and the therapist allow it. That's just in the event that I can't, or maybe you didn't want to talk to me."

"But I'd always wanna-"

"Kurt Hummel?"

************a few weeks later*****

It went well as far as therapy sessions go. Kurt didn't exactly leak everything, but he was able to tell her some of it. Blaine simply listened and squeezed Kurt's hand whenever he felt like Kurt was getting nervous.

Burt had left a while ago after countlessly thanking Blaine for helping Kurt. They'd even shared a short hug in which Blaine tried not to cry. (Didn't work out)

He was doing better. Kurt hadn't been cutting as much as he used to. Now, Kurt and Blaine were walking back to their dorm from school. It was relatively silent until Blaine spoke up.

"I'm proud of you, Kurtie."

Kurt looked at Blaine who was subconsciously tearing up.

"Blaine... why are you...?"

When Blaine realized why Kurt was so worried, he laughed. He quickly wiped away his tears.

"I'm okay, Kurt."

"Can we get coffee?"

"It's like 4 o'clock."

"I need coffee..."

Blaine nodded turning their direction to the Lima Bean. Kurt sat down while Blaine went to get their coffees.

Kurt looked down at his arms which had two old cuts. The deepest ones he'd ever made, but they didn't hurt. He trailed his finger over them. He turned his arm over to see the bare skin.

Clean, no wounds. Kurt smiled at this. He was almost healed. He was getting better... He was getting... normal.

"Kurt, are you okay?" Blaine asked, sitting in front of his boyfriend.

"Yes, actually... I feel fine... For real."

Blaine smiled and took Kurt's hand. "I love you."

"I love you too, Blainey."
