3RD PERSONS VIEW

"there's so many people..." mark gawked as they got escorted through the back door as there were too many students by the front hallway.

"where are we going?" chenle questioned as they now entered the school through the back door. there weren't much students there, only staffs and some performers that were preparing for the opening of the tournament.

"ah! the royal family!" the princes stopped as minseok came halted in front of a man. he seemed like a man around his forties. he wore a black suit as he wore his spectacles as usual.

"good afternoon, mr. song." minseok greeted with a soft smile before stepping aside to reveal the princes.

"your royal highness!" mr. song said as he bowed down to the eight boys.

"you have very lovely school, mr. song." taeil complimented as he scanned the area.

mr. song thanked his compliment and immediately called two students. "i'm going to introduce you to our emcee's for today's tournament!"

"this is jung miyeon and yang jeongin." mr. song said as the two students bowed down to the princes in front of them.

miyeon did her best to contain the overwhelming happiness she had inside of her. two of them are here, my plan would work. she thought to her self as she raised her head.

"it's nice to see you here, lady miyeon." jungwoo uttered.

since miyeon's family is on business terms with the royal family, it was normal for them to recognize miyeon.

miyeon was quite shocked to hear that, she never once heard them talk to her. they would always pass by each other in the hallways of the palace whenever the jung's were invited for a meeting, but this was new.

miyeon was also aware that the prince's of heflorescence have a hard time with communicating with girls in particular. she even remembers the time one of the boys would lash out on a girl in meetings when that girl is being annoying.

that's why when she saw jaeyoung talking to a prince, she was frightened for jaeyoung. but somehow, it took a different turn.

"we wish you both good luck with the program." taeyong said before minseok escorted them to the balcony.

"woah!" jisung and chenle were astonished. "this is so cool!" both said at the same time as they ran towards the railing, seeing literally everything from their position.

"isn't this cool?" taeyong chuckled, happy to see the youngest excited.

jisung and chenle looked at their hyung and nodded eagerly, "i've never attended something like this before! we always watch boring things– this is so fun!" jisung said as he took a seat beside chenle.

taeyong smiled and patted the top of their heads, "glad you're liking this."

chenle and jisung stiffened when they felt taeyong's hand on top of their heads. it's been so long since he last done that to them. ever since the huge fight happened between them, the older ones have been more distant and strict.

jisung's eyes glowed as he couldn't feel more happy. he felt ecstatic to see taeyong going back to his old self, maybe because of what i told him? i hope so.

jungwoo stood up from his seat, earning a look from doyoung. "where are you going?"

jungwoo hummed, "to the restroom."

doyoung nodded, "okay, be careful."

jungwoo stifled a laugh, "of course i will."

meanwhile, jaeyoung happened to be the only one in the classroom. she was still reading that book of hers that she had failed to notice the time. that was when her phone started ringing, indicating for a phone call.
