Dear readers,
Please keep in mind that this is a severely un-edited and uncompleted part, things may change with this in the next few weeks.
Most of this was also written a long time ago, and I am a much more enthusiastic, and talented writer.
But anyways, read if you dare....

I awoke the next morning to the sun penetrating through my eyelids.
I slowly opened up my eyes, the piercing light a pain to them. I ended up squinting and shifting my weight to the right side of the bed, but I hit someone on the way.
Nadia.
I groaned and threw myself back over to where I was before, suddenly wanting to fall back asleep. As I was about to lose my mind to sleep once again, I was interrupted by a loud banging.
“Seriously? What the heck!” I shouted. My first words made my voice sound hoarse, from the few hours of sleep I actually got.
I decided to get up, no purpose in repeating the previous events. I found that the noise indeed came from my mother, who had occupied the couch. She was packing up her things, while trying to make waffles at the same time.
“Sorry! Did I wake you?” She questioned, taking her eyes off the stove. She reached for something over the rising heat, searing her hand.
“Ow! God. Holy hell did that hurt!” She yelped as she clutched her now injured hand.
I quickly decided that aiding her would get us out of this blasted room faster. I rolled out of bed, realizing I was still in my sweats and t-shirt from yesterday. My thoughts wandered as I reached the small white kitchen outlet, just a few feet away from the bed Nadia was still snoozing away in. I reached the stove, my mother turning away to find relief at the sink at the end of the countertop.
“Are you alright mom?” I asked, looking at her in concern.
“No! No I’m not alright!” She shrieked in a high pitched voice. She quickly turned on the faucet, letting the cool water trickle over her seared fingers.
“Okay! Jeez just calm down!” I yelled back, ready to defend myself, brace myself for the oncoming blows.
She didn’t say anything more, so I quickly turned back to the stove, where I continued adding the mix into the waffle press. I let it sit for a minute before shutting the lid. I sat there in silence, the awkwardness of the situation paralyzing me for what felt like forever. I decided to let the waffles cook, and went to tidy up the rest of the room.
I hadn’t used any of my things, because I fell asleep last night riding in the elevator to get here. I looked at Nadia’s side of the bed first, and groaned. Her things were all over the floor. I bent down ever so quietly, so I would’t wake her. She looked so young in her sleep, her blonde hair gently cascading over her tan skin, lying so still. She breathed in regular motions, her chest rising and falling every few moments. I wondered what it would be like to be sixteen, free to drive. Free to be who you wanted. Free to date, to party, to feel like you could do anything. Anything you wanted to.
