Aubrey's P.O.V
I'm currently heading upstairs to my room when an obnoxious voice stops me.
"You're actually going to sleep by this time?" Jack says looking at his watch.
"This time?, dude its like past ten." I say pointing at the clock.
"Yeah, and that's the reason why you can't go to bed, it's too early."
"Well since I prefer to keep my brain functioning during the day unlike you, I'd rather go and sleep."
"My brain functions all the time honey. What about your pizza? It should arrive by...now." Jack says as the door bell rings.
"Come on." I say dragging myself back downstairs as Jack opens the front door.
"Pay up." Jack says to me collecting the pizza as I do.
"I'll keep it in the fridge for you since you look exhausted already." Jack offers.
"Alright, thank you. Goodnight." I say heading up.
"Night." He replies.

The last few weeks of summer have been nice and memorable. I grew a lot fatter these few weeks because I and Ariana had been introducing Mason to various restaurants and café. We all also went out shopping on few occasions, attended one of Ariana's cousin's wedding. ate, slept, It was all a nice experience except for the fact that I kept bumping into Cameron more often than usual.
"Ariana come downstairs!" My mom shouts.
"Coming!" I yell as I head downstairs.
"What's going on?" I ask as I see everyone with smiling with an amused look plastered on their faces.
"You'll never believe what Mom agreed to." Jack whispers in my ear.
"What exactly?" I ask whispering back.
"Your Mom said we could go on a trip!!!" Ariana exclaims clapping.
"Wait really?" I ask excited.
"Nah April fools!!!" My Mom squeals excitedly as my entire demeanour crumbles.
"Are you kidding me? its august." I say surprised at what they did.
"Well we had to do what we had to do." Ariana replies back.
"You guys are mean though. I was already getting excited, you just had to ruin it." I say pissed.
"Well, you not going on a trip is Mom's doing. I've also begged countless times to go on one." Jack replies.
"What you kids don't understand is that you have a working mother. It's not all that easy to go on trips whenever we please." My Mom says.
"You're right but we never go on trips. Can we please go on one before schools start resuming from the summer break?" I ask pleading.
"Yes Mom, it will be a great way for us all to relax. Mason and Cameron can also come as well." Jack backs me up pleading.
"I'll see what I can do about it. I'm not promising anything though." My mom says smiling as we both launch to hug her.
"Awesome. Today though, we have a mission. We have to go shopping for some of our outfits for school. I'll invite Mason to accompany us." Ariana says enthusiastically.
"I'm also coming with you guys. I have some things I want to get from the mall also." Jack replies.
"Great. Tell Cameron to escort you so that we can all hang out afterwards." Ariana suggests as I shake my head in disapproval.
"Cameron doesn't have to be there, we're just shopping." I say in disapproval.
"He has to be there. Since him and Mason both came back, the five of us haven't been in the same place together. I've literally been with him all the time. We have to all have to go." Jack concludes going upstairs.
"Well, if you can't beat them, join them. I'm waiting in the car." Ariana says heading out.
I decide to go with something simple since it was a little chilly day.I wore a long sleeve white tailed-shirt with blue jeans and a white converse. I put my hair in a pony tail and a little bit of lip gloss and mascara.
This is going to be a fun day.

"Okay I'm really scared right now." I say shocked.
"Of what? I only said I'll pay for the two of you." Mason says with his hands in his pocket.
"Yes, that's why I'm scared. I mean sure you can pay for mine, but, are you sure you can pay for Ariana's? It's like her mission on earth is to empty all the stores in California." I say pointing to her shopping cart.
"Hey, you do realize I'm still here right?" Ariana says next to me.
"I know. But you have to do the right thing and pay for yourself, your rich enough." I say smiling.
"Look, whether you like it or not, I'm paying for you both. I thought you said that Jack and Mason were coming." Mason questions.
"Yeah we're here." A voice says as we turn to see Jack and Mason with a shopping cart.
"We apologise for taking your time a bit. We wanted to grab a few things before calling." Cameron explains.
"Now that we're here, we can go get some food afterwards." Jack suggests.
"Definitely." I reply.
The drive wasn't too far but we eventually arrive at chick-fil-a, get a table and place our orders.
"Another school year is coming up. Do you guys plan on trying out for anything?" Cameron questions.
"Ariana wants to try out for the cheerleading squad even though she isn't good at anything." I say as Ariana flares up.
"Well, Aubrey wants to try out for the forever single and lonely society." Ariana says smiling as Mason and Jack snickers.
"Touché" I say nodding in approval.
"What about you Mason? Do you want to try out for the school's team?" Jack enquires.
"Well I can but I'm a little bit not concerned." Mason says with a shrug.
"Well if you are, we're here to support you. So are you single?" Cameron questions.
"Why do you ask, you want to fill that empty spot?" Mason says chuckling.
"Nah, it's just that at the party I saw you with a really pretty girl that seemed really interested in you. Care to spill the tea?" Cameron says grinning.
"Oh her. I doubt she's interested in a guy like me. We were just chatting that's all." Mason says rubbing the back of his neck.
"Yeah, we're not buying that. Although Cameron, you've always been the ladies man, are you still single?" Ariana asks smiling.
"Nope, but I have my eyes on someone." Cameron says looking directly at me.
Gulp.
