Being a high school teacher is almost just as much work as being a student. Of course I heard my teachers complain about that when I was a student but I wasn't sure just how right they were.

Our school lets out at 2:45, the students all laughing and walking out of the building to go home and hang out for the weekend. Me? Well, I'm still here at the school at 4 o'clock, grading papers and tests.

A knock at my door pulls me out of my trance. "It's open!" I say, not looking up from my paper I was almost done grading.

"Sarah," my name rolls off his tongue like velvet. I turn at him, being the only thing that can stop me from my work. I feel my shoulders and back relax, stress rolling off of them like a snowball rolling down a hill.

"Hi Spence," I say, my voice sounding breathy as all of my worries melt away by seeing his beautiful brown eyes. He walks towards and pulls up a seat next to me.

"Grading?" He asks, looking at my pile of papers. I nod my head.

"Despite being in high school, apparently some people don't know that periods end a sentence." I say, motioning to the paper with at least 4 circles in red pen about the lack of periods. He chuckles slightly.

"Do you have to grade all of these tonight?"

"No, I promised to get them back by Tuesday. Why?" He looks down at his lap. I grab his chin and force him to look me in the eyes. "What is it, Spencer?" He takes a deep breath.

"I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date with me tonight?" A grin makes its way on to my face

"Of course!" He grins.

"Great. I'll pick you up at 7:30?" I nod my head, enthusiastically.

"That sounds wonderful." He smiles and stands up.

"I'll see you at 7:30." He turns and walks out of my classroom. I turn back, finish up grading this paper and pack up my stuff. On my way to the parking lot I see the physical education teacher, Mr. Derek Morgan.

"Hi, Derek." I say, grabbing his attention. He turns around and smiles at me.

"Hey, girl. You heading out?" I nod my head.

"Yeah, I have plans at 7:30 tonight."

"Going on a date?" I nod my head.

"Dr. Reid is one lucky man."

"Wait, how did you know it was with Spencer?"

"C'mon, you think we don't see how he looks at you. I'm just surprised it took this long."

"Oh," I say, looking down and blushing.

"Hey," he says, walking towards me and putting his hand on my shoulder. "Have fun, okay? I think you guys could be very happy together." I smile, and he pulls me into a hug. When we pull away, we go our separate ways.

I get into my car and take a deep breath, trying to calm my nerves. The ride back to my apartment was filled with silence. The first thing I do when I step into my room was step right into the shower.

Sine he never exactly said what we're going to do, getting dressed was really stressful. I text Jj, having helped her when she got married to her husband, Will.

Me: Hey Jj

Jj: Hey Sarah, what's up?

Me: So I need fashion advice

Jj: What's the occasion?

Me: I'm going on a date

Jj: omg that's so great!

Me: thank you! But he never said where we will be going so I'm not sure what to wear

Jj: I've got this. Wear your purple tank tank top and your black tight skirt.

Me: remind me to always go to you for fashion

Jj: sure thing. Now go have fun!!

After putting on the clothes she recommended, I put on some music, do some nice makeup and put some loose curls into my hair. When I'm done it's 7:00. Only half an hour till he arrives. I put on a pair of comfortable heels, spray some light perfume and put on some nice simple jewelry. I hear a ding on my phone.

Spencer: I'm almost there, anything you want to do specifically?

Me: surprise me ;)

Around five minutes later, a knock on my door pulls me out of my thoughts. I open it to see Spencer Reid standing there, looking just as handsome as ever. A white button down with a black blazer over top, combined with a black pair of jeans. If I wasn't already dressed up for a date I would've pulled him in side and undressed him on the spot.

"Sarah, you look gorgeous."

"You're one to talk," I say, my eyes taking him in again.

"Shall we?" He asks.

"We shall," I say, grabbing my purse I dropped when I got home and locked the door. When we reach his car he opens the door for me. "Such a gentleman." I say. He gets in the car, and begins our journey.

It felt around 15 minutes before he opens my door and I'm standing in front of a beautiful restaurant.

"This place is beautiful," I say.

"I can name something more beautiful than this place." He says, looking at me. I blush and we make our way inside.

"Hi guys, do you have a reservation?" The hostess asks.

"Yeah, Spencer Reid?"

"Yep there you are. Follow me," she says, leading us to our table. We sit at a table further away from the other restaurant goes. A nice lit candle near the window, illuminating Spencer's face in a breathtaking way.

"Thank you for agreeing to this," he says.

"Of course, besides it's the least I could do since I flashed you in my classroom." He chuckles at the memory.

"Well, you did say some other time," he winks at me.

"We'll see how this date goes." I wink back. Our waitress comes, we order our meals and enjoy our time together with conversations, and we enjoy our food that he insisted on paying for. When we step outside, he turns to me.

"Want to take a walk?"

"Sure!"

Halfway through our walk he takes my hand in his, I look at him and he looks at me. We both smile at each other. Eventually we have to turn around so we could get back to the car. Once again, he opens the door for me before he gets into his side. He walks me to my door.

"Did you want to come in?" He nods his head. When I close the door I tap him on his shoulder. He turns, and I pull him into a kiss. He pulls away and smiles.

"As much as I'd love to see what panties you have on this time, I don't want to rush anything. I like you a lot and I want this to be an actual thing." With a large grin plastered on my face I pull him into a kiss again.

"I feel the same, Doctor Reid." He kisses me again.

"Glad to know we feel the same Ms. Yurinko."
