It was a normal day like any other. What the kingdom was not expecting was an attack by the outsiders. "Kneel down and hand us all your valuables at once!" A knight shouted.

Prince Jihoon heard the commotion happening and headed right out. "Back down, or else there will be consequences!" He shouted at the outsider knights. They refused and attacked him instead. "Attack!!" He shouted and our palace knight charged at them and fought them off.

Now we were in the royal garden after what happened earlier. "What happened just now? How did they manage to get in?" I asked prince Jihoon.

Now hold on, you must be wondering how are the two of us close. Well you see my mother was the royal servant of the palace. And she gave birth to me here. I grew up in the palace as a servant as well. As for Jihoon though he has a brother prince Woojin he often finds himself bored as prince Woojin is always busy with knight training. So when Jihoon is bored he tries finding ways to entertain himself. Once he came to the servant quarters and that's when we met.

We clicked really well and had many things in common. It didn't take Long for the both of us to become good friends. But happiness didn't last Long when my mother died of a disease. I was supposed to be kicked out of the palace but since Jihoon and I were close he begged he father to let me stay in the palace. The king was really kindhearted he did not go against us being friends and he also allowed me to stay and serve as a servant.

So that's the story of how we became close friends. So back to the present.

"I have no idea, they seem stronger than before we weren't ready for that attack" Jihoon said. "Well I think it's time to take some action and plan ahead to prevent this from happening again." I said. "Well said Jang-Mi !" A strong voice said. "Good afternoon your majesty". I quickly said and bowed. "Don't have to be so formal Jang-Mi, after all we have known each other for quite awhile" the king said. "Whatever you said was right we should be more prepared" he said and walked away.
