'Beep, Beep, Beep, Beep.'
I groaned and flipped the warm covers over my head, I frowned at the thought of getting up before pushing the comforter to the ground and forcing myself to stand. I groggily made my way over to my phone and squinted as the bright screen assaulted my vision. I switched off the alarm and put my phone back down. Turning around, I pulled off my hoodie and threw it somewhere as I reached for a clean tee to wear. I pulled the tee on and went over to the clothes bin to see what else I would be wearing today. I rooted through the clothes for a minute before pulling out a pair of shorts.
I pulled off my pajama pants and slipped on the shorts, pulling on a pair of fuzzy ankle socks and my black combat boots as well. I went over to the bathroom and washed my face and brushed my teeth. I picked my phone back up and looked at the time, I groaned and pocketed the cell. I grabbed my book bag and pulled on a jacket, snatching up my car keys as I made my way to the door.
"Stupid college, stupid alarm, stupid life." I grumbled as I locked my apartment and made my way down the stairs to where my car was parked.
I paused and found myself blinking rapidly, "A black.. rose?" I voiced, puzzled. I slid my book bag of my shoulder and placed it on the ground, cautiously grabbing the black rose that sat atop the hood of my car. I spun it between my index finger and thumb, cringing ad I accidently pricked my finger on one of the thorns. Instinctively I released the rose and inspected my findger as a small ball of blood swelled on the tip of my index finger. I stood still, transfixed by the drop of blood before my phone vibrated as I recieved a notification and I snapped out of it.
Shaking my head I pulled out my phone, staring at the screen in alarm.
"Crap! I'm going to be late to class!" I practically shouted, repocketing my phone and lifting my book bag back up, unlocking my car and throwing the bag into the passenger seat. I started the car and quickly backed out, turning down the music that blared as the radio started up.
Twenty minutes later I had arrived at campus, parked my car and rushed into class, seconds before the Professor shut the door. I collapsed into the closest chair and huffed, dropping my book bag to the floor and pulling out my laptop. "Ugh. Kill me." I moaned, running a hand through my hair as my laptop booted up.
"That could be arranged." A masculine voice hummed as someone poked my cheek, I turned towards the voice and groaned.
"Not right now Alex." I grumbled, slapping his tan hand away. Alex pouted and blunk his dark green eyes rappidly. I looked away from the brunette and casually flipped him off, logging into my computer as the Professor started the class.
About halfway into class I began to hear a pounding in my ears and could no longer hear anything else. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion as the pounding got slower and slower, black spots began impeding my vision and I struggled to mantain some idea of what was going on.
Everything became blurry and the beating in my head got sluggish, I couldn't feel myself move. A loud thump that was off ryhthm with the beating was the only reason i knew I had fallen to the floor. I heard faint wisps of someone calling my name as the beating came to a stop and everything went dark.
