Narrator's P.O.V.

"This is the story of two sisters. One of them born for greatness... and the other one... well, she seems completely useless."

"Wait, which one are you saying is useless?"

"It doesn't matter. On with the show!"

*cue the curtains*

It all started by a beautiful crystal blossom tree. A baby girl had just been born to the royal family of Neol.

"I've been trying to think of a name for our daughter," the Neolian Queen, Emeliara, said to her husband as she carried her blue-haired daughter.

"Well she is quite the gift," the Neolian King, Jarrito, replied.

"A gift... Elise. Let's name her Elise."

"Elise. I wholeheartedly agree."

But little did they know that three years later, another light would enter their world.

Now this second child was nothing like the first. She seemed to have a great disliking for being carried around and seemed to like books, even though she can't read them at the time.

"We've made a full analysis of the child," the doctor said.

"And?" the king asked. "No casualties?"

"There is hardly any sign of her having royal heritage... or any Neolian abilities..."

Elise, being too young to understand what was going on, clapped her hands while her parents were in a state of shock.

A couple weeks after such a shocker, they were thinking of names.

"How about Lola?" Jarrito suggested.

"Do you even like that name?" To this the king shook his head. "Maybe we should call her Mallory, because of the dreadful hand destiny gave her."

"Claire." The two parents instantly turned to their daughter, who had just said her first word. "Her name is Claire."

The young second-born child clapped her hands to this and tackled her big sister in a hug.

"That's outrageous!" Emiliara shouted. "Why on Neol would we name her such a contrary name?"

"Her name is Claire," Elise declared, standing her ground. Or maybe she was attempting to explain reasons, but that was all that came out. No one really knows.

Months passed, and whenever her parents spoke badly about her sister or tried to give the child a new name, Elise would always repeat those words.

Soon, it was just Elise who carried her sister places. Claire was surprisingly lightweight, even without powers.

"Ewize," Claire said on the day of her first word. "Sistuh."

"I love you too, Claire."

Their sisterly bond was stronger than the rest of their family bonds... and the mystery of destiny's hand to the family was still unknown.

"Claire, never change, okay? You are perfect when you're yourself."

Claire, though she didn't understand, nodded.

"Sistuh... Ewize."
