Reese was staying at the butterfly estate after a hard mission so her injuries could recover. They had been hesitant to rest as they felt that they needed to be out with the rest of the hashira helping to fight muzan. Sadly for them, their pain tolerance wasnt very high and they were confined to bed.
This morning in particular they were excited as their friends were supposed to come see them! They loved their friends with all their heart but they felt very strong emotions to one bluish black haired boy... Not that he would like them back ofc. As they were dwelling on their emotions Zenitsu burst into the room.
"REESE-CHANNNNNN" the blonde haired boy yelled hurling himself at the brunette. "Ow, Zenitsu please calm down!" she yelped as pain reignited in her body. "A-ah sorry about that" he stuttered. Suddenly Inosuke and Tanjiro flew into the room Inosuke yelling about how he was stronger than Tanjiro and said boy trying to calm him down.
"Fight me Monjiro! You could never win against someone as strong as me! Ill beat you to a pulp!!" Inosuke yelled. Tanjiro finally noticed where they were and apologized greatly for the boar head. " Im so sorry Reese! We didn't notice we were already here!" Resse chuckled about the trios antics and accepted Tanjiros apology. "Its fine Tanjiro-san! I dont mind." Reese started to feel a little dizzy suddenly and asked if Tanjiro could go get a doctor. He complied and asked Zenitsu if he could come with him as to keep the blonde boy from attacking Reese. Inosuke was the first to break the silence in the room "Fight me midget!! ill surely win against a weakling like you!!" Reese chuckled at the hot headed boar. "Im sure you would Inosuke, but I cant fight right now im injured." Inosuke looked at them like they had grown two heads. "What does that matter? Fight me weakling ill beat you for sure!" Reese sighed at the boars antics and decided there was no other choice but to fight him. They pulled themself out of the bed and the male charged at her headbutting them in the stomach. They collapsed back onto the bed in pain and started coughing. "I-Inosuke i didn't expect you to charge that fast!" Reese coughed out. Inosuke however felt slight guilt and remorse for attacking them like that. Why was he feeling like that for them? They were just another weakling in his path. Yet for some reason he wanted to protect and care for them. "I-im sorry Reese i didn't mean to hurt you even tho you are a weakling." Inosuke snorted. "I beat you tho! I am the strongest!" For some reason that hurt Reese and they started to sniffle which then turned into tears. Inosuke was baffled and didn't understand why they was crying. "H-Hey stop crying dammit. Is it because i hurt you too much?" He asked. "N-no i've just had secret feelings for you inosuke! And you act like you don't care about me and hate me!" They stuttered out her words and then started crying even harder. Inosuke was shocked to say the least. He had been feeling some type of way for the brunette and was shocked that she felt the same. "Y-you like m-me?!?" Reese nodded and Inosuke ran over to them and hugged them tightly. "Inosuke whats this about?" Reese stopped crying and sniffled slightly. "I-I love you Reese!" Inosuke cursed himself for stuttering and Reese looked at him shocked. "You do??" Inosuke nodded and Reese hugged him back tightly. "Im so happy Inosuke!!" Said boy blushed deeply and covered his face in their shoulder. "Not that your better than me or anything dummy." Reese chuckled and sighed happily maybe things wouldn't be so bad after all.
