I thought it was a fairy tail or a dream. I was wrong, it was real. This is actually happening right here and now.

I turned around to see my three little brothers and younger sister running up to the front patio of our new beautiful home. It was the largest house I had ever been to, and now it was ours? I'm glad I let my parents talk me into moving here to Florida but leaving my best friend Lilian back in Austin Texas was hard for me. I will miss her so much. I haven't even begun to think about what school will be like without any friends. Practically, our back yard was the beach, so I wasn't complaining.

I stood there in awe lost in my thoughts holding one of my many bags. While scanning the beauty in front of me, my parents, in all their glory and fame strutted up to house empty handed. The movers had already began unpacking our belongings and they followed my parents with their arms full.
"Moon, are you just gonna stand there or are you coming in to pick a room?" Asked Ryder.
"Uh. Oh yeah I should probably go inside." I replied.
The house has vast archways and long, tall hallways with marble flooring. It seemed to be a castle. I walked through the doorway and stood there in shock. It was gorgeous.

I walked slowly up the curvy staircase because I was told that's where my room would be. I went to the first door on the right at the top of the stairs, but my two brothers had claimed that bedroom. It was the largest room. They had grown up sharing a room and they wanted to keep it that way. The media room was next and then the game room. The next bedroom was my sister's so I turned around and went to the other side of the stairs to find the last bedroom. It had its own bathroom and shower. The room was relatively big and it had a nice window looking out over the large backyard. I laid my bag on the floor and headed back downstairs to check out the other rooms.

The living room is beautiful. It has tall ceilings and fireplace. There are hardwood floors in almost every room. The kitchen has three bar stools and a huge island.

I found my little brother Nolan's bedroom down the hall separate from the kitchen. It was very small, but he doesn't need a big room. He is only 4 after all.

The dining room and the study are already packed full of boxes from the trucks. My parents were lucky. Their bedroom was the best of all and oh my gosh... Their closet was amazing.

Wait... Am I going to school next week? I've always been either homeschooled or I've gone to private school. How can I so abruptly switch to public school? I'm gonna be such a loner in my junior year of high school. How wonderful is that? (Said with sarcasm.) I don't know a soul in Florida. We moved because my dad was offered a job that required us to move here. He will get a much higher salary. I'm beginning to think I'm going to hate school. I'm not the type of girl who just makes friends easily. I'm actually pretty shy. I hope I don't get bullied. I just live in the shadows. Well... That's not fun, I know, but I don't want to be an obvious loner.
