Chapter Four

$Five hours Later (not including stops)$

      Five hours of pure silence was torture I was so use to my mother and father fighting after thirty minutes but she just continued to look out the window and wouldn't say anything after what happened in Oklahoma city at the hotel. It wasn't normal for them not to argue even as a child I remember them bickering even for the little things and over the year's it got worse, but here my mother and father just sat in an awkward silence. Now my father he would ask little questions here and there but my mother wasn't having nun of that she just continued to ignore him and look out the window.

Daddy Rell- "Okay princess we're almost there are you excited?"

Princess Leya- "Yes i'm excited i can't wait to see my sister and start school!"

Princess Leya- "Momma are you ok?"

Melissa- " I'm okay honey, I'm just thinking about what to do next."

Daddy Rell- " And what is that Melissa?"

My father never got his answer cause we pulled up to my sisters house, and oh.... my....god was her house big and beautiful.

Melissa- " I see that my baby is doing good for herself despite me and my pressure for her to do something different with her live."

Princess Leya- " Momma stop everything is going to be alright. Just talk to Erica and tell her the truth momma that's all we can do at this point."

Melissa-" You right, baby."

As my father finally came to a stop my sister ran out of the house to greet us. she looked so happy until she seen our mother but she played it off, but I know that my mother saw the disappointment on my sisters face because I saw the tears run down her's for the first time I felt sorry for my mother.

Getting out of the car I hug my sister...

Princess Leya- " Hey Erica!"

Erica- "hey baby girl!"

Princess Leya (Whispers)- "please talk to momma her and daddy had a big fight on the way here and she apologized to me about everything Erica and she meant it. You should have seen her face when you just looked at her, Sister please talk to her for me and maybe she will give you the answers that we both deserve please.

Erica looks at me and see's that i am serious about her talking to momma.

Erica( whispers back)- "What happened leya?"

Princess Leya (Whispers)- "I will tell you later but please just talk to her for me please."

Erica-" okay I'll talk to her, but I want to know everything, Leya."

Princess Leya- " Thank you!"

Erica- "Momma?"

Melissa-" Yes!"

Erica- "Can I talk to you?"

Melissa- " yes, honey just let me help Leya with her bags."

Daddy Rell- " I got it go talk to Erica!"

My mother doesn't even respond, she just take's me and Erica's hands and walks to the front door. Erica opens the door letting us in and may I say DAMN the inside looked even better than the outside.

Erica- "Come on lets go talk upstairs in my room."

Me and my mother follow her up the stairs, my sister's home was beautiful. I knew that my sister was going to make it to the top and I couldn't wait to be on top too.

Erica- " What is going on here Momma and Aaleeyah?"

Melissa-" I wanted to talk to you and apologize for everything that I have done to you and your sister. I am so sorry for belittling you and making you feel as though your dreams and ambitions didn't matter when they truly do, I am so proud of the woman  that you have become even though as a mother I wasn't there to support you.
