"This is it." Liam says. He pulls out an umbrella from under the seat. "Welcome home." He says opening the door.

"Whoa." I gasp.

"Hurry Emma." He says, his voice competing with the rain pounding on the umbrella.  He reaches for my arm. I shift away before he can grab it, walking ahead of him.

"How much did this cost?" I ask, gasping at the mansion. He glances up at me from the jiggling keys in his hands. "Sorry, that was rude to ask." I apologize.

I feel sudden relief as we escape the cold, damp weather into his home. Liam carries in my carry on bag and his. I shift on my feet. What am I supposed to do?

"Are you hungry?"

"No." I bite my lip, reaching for my bag which for some reason I find more comforting to hold in front of me. My eyes squint as I let out a yawn.

"Would you like to go to bed?" He asks. I nod, balancing the bag between my fingers. "Up this way." He nods towards the stairs. I follow him down the hall, admiring every object in sight. I stop short on the stairs. He's not going to make me sleep with him is he? In the same bed? Oh my god. "Liam?" I ask. He turns to me, looking down at me from a few steps up. "I'm not...I'm not sleeping in the uh, same bed as you right?"

"If you don't want to." He turns back around, continuing up the steps.

I nod to myself, following him up.

"This can be your room." He says. "Your bags were already unpacked in my room and put away. I guess I'll tell the maid to move your things in here tomorrow morning." I walk over to the bed and place my bag on top. "Well...goodnight." He says closing the door.

I blink at the spot he once stood, flopping onto the bed. "Goodnight." I whisper to myself, curling into a ball on top of the bed. I have nothing but hours of lying awake ahead of me.

A loud clap makes me jump awake. "What the hell?" I pant. I rush over to the window, struggling to close the gap left that caused rain and leaves to fly in. I sigh, my heart racing as I lean my head against the now steadily closed window. Panic slowly leaves me as I relive from being jolted awake.

"Of all places it had to be England." I shake my head. My watch reads 10:37 a.m.

"This is what 10:30 in the morning looks like?" I rub my forehead, looking at the dull, nearly black England sky.

A knock on my door brings my attention to a voice behind it. "Emma, would you like breakfast?" I open the door, seeing a wide awake Liam in a white T-shirt and black sweats.

"Yes please." I say. He takes a quick glance at my clothes. "You didn't change last night?"

"No pajamas." I say.

"Oh damn it, sorry that's right, they'll move your clothes in your room right now. no worries." He says. I nod, awkwardly waiting for him to show me to the kitchen.

"This way." He turns on his heel. "So, what would you like to do today?" I shrug when he looks at me, following him down the steps.

"What do you like to eat?" Liam asks sitting at a table. A sweet looking old woman comes next to us.

"I can make my own food." I say politely to her, standing up.

"No, no, no darling I can make anything you like." The kind old lady says.

"May I help?" I offer, mostly just wanting to spend time with someone who looks friendly. I really don't feel like being forced to have a conversation with a man who basically kidnapped me.
