5, 4,3,2,1... Merry Christmas! Fireworks display makes the sky colorful and very beautiful to look up to People and enjoying watching the different effects of fireworks. Everybody is so happy. But who would have taught, there is one person unhappily seeing what have seen by all despite of the happiness they feel and the beautiful scenery that can be seen around. This person is named Lance.
Lance is a handsome person, very playful and happy go lucky guy. But an incident happens during Christmas that makes his life change. A change that makes his life miserable and feel empty. A car accident happens on that Christmas. His parents die on that accident and his they only one survives.
Because of that accident, Lance does not believe anymore the essence of Christmas because he remembers everything of what happen on that day. He thinks that in his everyday of his existence is a mess. He enters all the bad vices, liquor and girls. But there is one and only girl that makes his perception change about life and even Christmas. This girl is named Anne. She is a positive out looking girl, beautiful and a happy person. But despite of those characteristics, he suffers from a cancer, leukemia.
Lance and Anne are childhood friends. They are so closed to each other like brother and sister. They even grow up- together. Only that accident separates them. Until one day they meet each other again. They meet when Anne arrives home from America for her treatment. Anne is so happy upon seeing lance and so is lance too. They talk each other. Share and laugh each other. But on the Christmas, as they celebrate everybody is so happy until Anne notice lance very sad and crying. Anne just ignores it and just enjoys celebrating with her family.
On the following night, at the terrace, Anne sees lance looking at the sky. She goes hear to him and asked, as there something wrong?''. But as lance looks to Anne, tears fall down from his eyes and he can't stop it. He is crying and crying while embracing Anne. '' Why are you crying?'' says Anne. Lance answers '' I just miss my parents so much. I can't believe this will happen to me. '' Don't be like that, everything happens for a reason. They go but there comes another to your life. Now look at me, what you see in me?'' Anne says. '' I see you very happy and has positive outlooks of life'' he answers. But Anne says, '' you are wrong. Physically you see me like that. But deep inside in it I suffer for leukemia. Yes Lance, I'm dying. But i don't see life as a mess. I see it as a gift that is worth living for. Don’t be stocked on your past instead make it as a challenge to face another journey on your life.'' From that time on, lance realizes the essence of life and so Christmas. So everything Christmas arrives, lance celebrates it with fun and merry because he believes that everything happens in our life has its purpose. All you have to do is don’t lost hope.
