Twenty Eight - Panic

Trigger warning: Panic Attack

The sun from the window landed straight on his face, and his head was pounding in sync with his heartbeat. Taehyung could tell that this wasn't going to be a good morning for him.

Groaning, he rolled over, facing away from the sun. He tried to just go back to sleep but to no avail. With another groan, he begrudgingly opened his eyes to surveying his surroundings groggily before he realized he's in living room couch instead of bedroom.

What happened? Oh right. He was exhausted from yesterday work. Then he remembered he met Kat and they had an argument, and then... and then what? Shit. He couldn't recall at all. Closing his eyes again he heaved a huge sigh, blindly fishing for his phone which he found in his pocket, before squinting at the screen.

4PM. Wow, he slept a long time. Stretching his long limbs on the bed, he lazily slid off the couch, almost tripping on his own feet's. Using the wall for support he peered blearily into his kitchen only to find his handsome best friend, Jimin.

Taehyung padded slowly towards the kitchen. As if sensing his presence, the cute man turned to face him with a wide grin. "Oh hey! Good morning, Taetae!"

Taehyung whined, clutching his aching head at Jimin's chipper greeting. "Aughhhh, not so loud please chim, I feel like my head's gonna explode."

He chuckled, watching as Taehyung moved to sit down, still unsteady on his feet. "That's why I found you sleeping outside your apartment! You must've not enough rest. Here I'll get you some medicine and water."

"Thanks chimchim-ah, you're the best." After he popped the pills and downed the glass of water gratefully, he spoke again, "Chim, what do you mean you found me sleeping outside? Why would I?"

Taehyung could sense that Jimin wanted to say something but wasn't taking initiative and he had a bad feeling that it had to do with what happened last night. And then, a sudden memory flash passed his mind,

"You told me in the message you're suffering from 'sleepless nights and sleepy days', right? Jeongguk, I hope you sleep well from today onwards. I take back my words from time off because I don't see where our relationship is going eversince your ex enters our love story, so I'm breaking off with you!" - KTH

"You are being ridiculous and I don't know what I have to do to get through your thick head." - JJK

"I'm being ridiculous now? Fine. I'm tired and this relationship won't work if one of us is tired." - KTH

"Noooooo, I did asked for break up?!" Taehyung covered his face in horror. "This is all Kat's fault! She accused me things that I didn't do! Chim, do you know, even Jeongguk thinks I'm being ridiculous. Am I? Ugh!! This is so messed up!"
