The loud noise from the speakers was in sync with the beat of yamaguchi's heart. The light was dancing around the four corners of the room and so are his restless fingers which kept tapping the table beside him.

Karasuno Volleyball Club was invited to a party for all the teams in the prefecture. They weren't accustomed to this kind of thing but since they are also the representative for the nationals, they were expected to be at the said event.

Party lights, Weird hip-hop music, crowded placesㅡYamaguchi and the rest of the team are strangers to this kind of thing. Well maybe except to Tanaka and Nishinoya who instantly began to dance the moment they stepped in.

"Takeda-sensei said he'll pick us up by 10 PM, so might as well enjoy this party." still with his father-figure, daichi-san kept on lifting everyone's mood which obviously dropped. He was also convincing everyone to dance around and try some things out but, everyone declined the offer and remained standing.

Karasuno, the dark horse which showed the court what they have got but also the turtles that kept themselves inside their shells during parties.

"I should have went home, I'm too tired for this."

Yamaguchi's head tilted upon hearing Tsukishima's voice. Right, he was always like thatㅡhis body will always move everytime it heard his voice, he was obviously enslaved by that bored sound tsukishima would emit.

"But everyone is here and we are expected by many to arrive.." yamaguchi did moved his body to face tsukishima who was leaning on the wall with both hands on his pockets and headphones on his neck. They were still gathered on the side and everyone is not moving an inch. Hinata's voice was loud and all but surprisingly he isn't leaving his spot.

"We can just decline or tell captain we are busy or something. There are lots of reason for us to use yamaguchi, just to avoid this."

Well, he was right. He was always right anyway. Even him, he doesn't even want to join this event also but they were all asked to attend and that includes tsukishima, his another reason why he came.

"Yoo-hoo! Karasuno volley ~"

Atlast, someone they knew had approached them but, 'twas someone who might be hating them since the team of that someone was crushed by themㅡOikawa Toru.

"It's the great king!!"

Everyone stilled with Hinata's sudden expression but then they began to laugh. Yamaguchi was giggling softly, his gaze made its way to the man beside him who was smirking and with that, his heart began to beat fastly and the whole place became weird. Everyone became blur and the dancing lights were moving in a weird slow-motion effect. He was trying to blink his eyes but it won't. All he can see is the smirking face of tsukishima and the blurry place with bizzare moving lights.

What the hell is happening?

Tsukishima. What he can see is tsukishima. His eyeglasses that makes him look hot, yesㅡyamaguchi finds him hot. His usual smug expression which he always likedㅡno! This is not right. Yamaguchi shook his head and within a second, he can hear the music. The lights were again dancing but not in a slow manner and everyone, everyone was looking at himㅡeven tsukishima whose hands are on both of his shoulders.

"Yamaguchi daijobou? have you lost your concentration again? You just have to take a deep breathe andㅡ"

"Shut up hinata, yamaguchi isn't going to serve or what"

"What happened yamaguchi? Are you feeling ill?" Ennoshita was the last one to ask him and everyone went silent again. What was that? Even him was weirded-out at that moment. He was weirded out by his own thoughts.

"Why don't you guys take a sit, i'll go get something for us and maybe bring tanaka and nishinoya back here."

He was still occupied by that weird scenario. They were all gathered in one place and was approached by some volleyball players to congratulate them and such. With the absence of the captain and other third years, Ennoshita was the one who entertained the questions and threw shady answers to some jerks who were asking sarcastic questions. It's true that not all are happy for the result and not everyone will just support them, some are still bitter towards them. Plus the fact that Ennoshita smoothly talked back and replied such questions is a sign that he might be the next captain of the team.

"Oi yamaguchi."

If he'll be compared to something non-living, yamaguchi is likely a statue. He wasn't moving and even stopped his breathe the moment tsukishima held his hand. He can't even look at him! He was a slave of his voice but for the first time, his body disobeyed the great voice of tsukishima.

"Ya-ma-gu-chi!"

"HAI?!"

crap.

He should have just said something but in a low tone. Why the hell was he shouting and most importantly, why was he flustered by the male's actions?

"Ennoshita-san, yamaguchi and I are going home."

"Wait what? Tsukkiㅡ"

"He is not feeling well. I'll bring him home.."

Yamaguchi was obviously not in favor with tsukki's sudden decision. They were friends for a long time, yes but this is just weird!

"Salty-shima knows where yamaguchi lives ennoshita-san."

Wow. Thanks to hinata for putting all his puppy eyes and whispering into failure.

"I-I'm fineㅡ"

"Please tell daichi-san and the others to have fun and sorry for leaving so early. Excuse us."

"M-matte!"

Was he a dog? No. But tsukishima did drag him on the collar of his shirt which made him cough. This was also the first time he became harsh towards him. Tsukishima's cool and always relaxed but why is he acting like this? This is not him..

"Oi Yamaguchi."

Shoving his hand away, he stood up straight as he stared at his broad back. He can also sense him getting annoyed but for what reason? What did he do to make him decide things for him? This is so unlike him.

"What?"

"Have you seen someone you liked inside?"

Okay, now that's really weird. Yamaguchi thought. Tsukishima never asked stuff like that to him. He was never interested in things like that butㅡ why the hell is he asking him that? Is there something wrong with him?

"H-huh? I know no one in there except Aoba Johsai's members and u-us.. why ask me that?

silence.

Silence was reigning over them and it's awkward.

"T-tsukki.."

"Let's go home yamaguchi.. you're not feeling well right?"

Hello! This is the very first time I made a fanfiction. I am still unsure of everything especially if this one will be read by many or what. But, i really wanted to write this one and I hope i will be able to finish this.
