The next morning both the Kim siblings got ready for their own schedules.
Mina chose an off shoulder blue dress made of flowing chiffon fabric with soft satin lining that enhanced her lean figure and fair skin. To go with it she wore a black choker with a single star as a pendant. Since the spring breeze was cool she decided to leave her hair free except for pinning one side with hairclips. When she searched for them her eyes ended up finding the ones gifted by Jungkook. Two silver ones, each with a pink plum blossom on it's end.
Shoving it deep into the drawer she picked two other clips with stars on it. It did match well with her dress.
"Mina!", Taehyung knocked on the door, "It's getting late"
Taking her pearl-white clutch she stepped out of the room, "Let's go"
Her brother looked at her in awe, "So ugly!", he teased her.
"Look at your dress first!", she rose a brow at how he was dressed in a casual wear: black pants and t-shirt with a flannel shirt over.
"What's wrong with this? I'm coming there for work not to the party and even if I did", he looked at his sister, "I wouldn't look so ugly", he laughed.
"Shut up and go start the car", Mina deadpanned.
Both climbed down the stairs and met their parents. Namjoon gasped at his daughter who looked all dolled up after a long time. The last was for Jin's sister's wedding.
"My daughter looks gorgeous!", he cried.
Jin patted his back asking him to calm down, "Ofcourse she is. Ain't she my daughter?", he said haughtily.
"Have fun Mina", Jin smiled at his daughter and ordered his son, "and Taehyung! bring her back home before six in the evening", like the strict father he was.
Both parents waved them goodbye as the car drove away.
"Our parents have done a great job", Mina smiled proudly at the fancy decoration that was filled with blue blossoms glowing under the morning sun, the green leaves swaying away matching with the rhythm of the gently blowing wind.
The siblings walked through the expensive sedans parked near their medium sized CUV. Taehyung carried his sports bag that probably contained gardening gloves, few fertilizer packets and other necessary tools. While Mina held onto her clutch as she looked at and around the mansion in awe.
Jimin looked at his reflection in the mirror, dressed up in a full white suit. He usually preferred to not wear ties because the piece of cloth felt like a cord that strangled his neck leaving him with few gray memories rushing up his head.
His phone rang with a ringtone that had him smiling. Humming along to the tune of "The Path of the Wind" he answered the call from his brother who was also busy getting ready in the room at the other end of the corridor just like his. Between them were their parents' bedroom.
"Hyung, come and help me with the suit", Jihun whined on the line.
"Coming!", Jimin chuckled and opened the door to walk out but met with his mother who seemed to have waited there a while.
"You could've come in", he opened the door to let her in.
"It's fine", she spoke flatly, "I just needed to check a few things", her eyebrows, brushed with black mascara, fanned up and down at her son.
"Your suppressants?", she asked.
Jimin nodded politely, "I took them"
"Your tie", she pointed to his empty collar and going down, she tapped on the left out button with her manicured nails that were currently painted white at the edges to match with her white suit, trying her best to look young.
