Landon decided against letting me meet the others and had me eat in our room. I ate and fell asleep and woke up at night.
Now I'm sneaking out to get a drink. I'm so thirsty even though I drank half a soda with my food. I guess it wasn't enough to drink.
As I'm walking down the halls, I notice the halls are creepy at night. If that's even possible with it being dark from the paint during the day. I had forgotten it had two doors leading to two rooms with his roommates till one creaks open.
Evan walks out dragging Callum by the ear, both wearing cloaks like Tobias' reaching lower cutting off at their ankles and black socks. Callum pouts when he sees me while Evan's cheeks turn slightly red from blushing.
I don't know why they have that reaction, but I must have walked into a moment between the two.
"He's overreacting, Jacob. He thinks I have a crush on you," Callum says.
"No I don't. I never said that Callum. Shut up."
I keep my mouth shut as they go back and forth before Callum kisses Evan silencing him instantly. Evan crosses his arms, and Callum just grins and runs off before Evan says anything to him.
My eyes drift to the ground unsure of what to really say to him.
Evan's hand rests on my shoulder as he lifts my head up with his other hand. My green eyes meet cold blue eyes that seem to want to freeze me inside out. His lips turn into another creepy smile as he moves his hand on my shoulder up to my neck.
"Do you like Callum," he asks.
"Yeah."
His fingers lightly squeeze my neck, and I'm not sure what he's trying to do. I keep my eyes on his watching them turn darker. They look almost black the more he stares at me.
"Do you know he's mine?"
"Oh. I'm not gay."
"Really?"
"Mhhm."
His eyes turn bright again as he strokes under my chin then lets me go. I'm not really sure why he acted that way. I'm glad he didn't hurt me though. Hopefully he won't do it again either. He gives me a soft smile before walking into the dark hallway the same way as Callum.
I wait a second before following them to go to the kitchen. It's empty in the living room and kitchen, so I wonder where they are. I'm not going to go look around though. I'm tired right now, and I just want a drink and then bed.
After having a lime soda, I go back to bed without running into anyone. The halls are empty and quiet as I make my way back. The other roommates I didn't meet haven't made an apperance like Evan and Callum.
Landon is awake when I come in and sitting up against the headboard, so I sit on the edge of my side of the bed and wait for him to say something. His eyes bloodshot and puffy from tiredness, and his hair is a mess.
"Why'd you get up," he asks.
"A drink."
"You didn't run into anybody?"
"Evan and Callum."
"And you didn't see anything weird?"
"No."
He nods at my answer then lays back down facing me on his side. I climb in next to him feeling him cuddle into me bringing me close to his clothed chest. He wore a shirt tonight and pajama bottoms too. I keep my arms to myself and fall asleep in the warm cocoon he made with his arms and body.
