"You need to put this hospital gown on, there is a toilet round the corner, you can help her sir." The nurse said to me as she handed me my hospital gown.
I awkwardly shuffled past Luciano hurrying to the toilet and locking it before he could join me.
"Shitttt" I whispered looking down at the hospital gown in my trembling hands. I'm scared as fuck now.
I slowly peeled off my clothes as if trying to slow down time. I tied the knot at the the back of my dress, folding my clothes into a neat pile.
I moved my hand to the door handle preparing to open the door. Just breathe in and out.
"You done?" Luciano asked through the door startling me. "Yep." I quickly opened the door acting as if I wasn't panicking on the inside.
Luciano took my clothes off of me and began walking ahead. I walked quickly after him.

"This breathing mask is going to administer general anaesthesia, so just remain calm and breathe normally." The nurse recalled to me as she messed around with the tubes connected to my body.
I unconsciously held my hand out hoping for someone to hold but quickly retracted it when I was met with cold air as I cringed at my mistake. Luciano sat silently on the chair next to my bed.
"You might start feeling a little bit funny a lot of patients like to count back from 10 at this point."
"Sounds fun I'll start, 10, 9, 8, 7 ,21 oooh what's 9+10" I exclaimed feeling giddy as I turned to Luciano waiting for his answer. "It's 21 Lucy keep uuumppp" I slurred.
Now to sleep I go.
