Shrek's Bizarre Quest: Powers Personified

New World

This story is a continuation of the story "Shrek Quest"

RECAP: Shrek, Mr. Owl, and Pikachu form a team called the Protagonist Team. They wanted to find an adventure, on their way, they ran into an evil sheep named Mr. Bad Guy. The protagonist team eventually found the adventure, and they travelled the world. After seeing the world, and teaming up with Mr. Bad Guy, they met Dom, Sho, and their pet rock, Angelo. Shrek and Mr. Bad Guy created a machine that could allow people to travel to other dimensions. The entire Protagonist Team transported themselves to another dimension, before quickly realizing that they had no way back.

Shrek and Mr. Bad Guy were excited to explore the new world, but the rest of the Protagonist Team were quivering in fear. They were in a forest they had never seen before, and there was no food in sight. Even if there had been food, they had no way of knowing if it was poisonous. Shrek pushed a few bushes around and saw flat ground in front of him, Mr. Bad Guy looked over as Shrek stepped through the bushes. Mr. Bad Guy heard Shrek gasp, so he walked over to the bushes Shrek had walked through. he pushed the leaves away and saw a big town with a variety of unique houses. Shrek and Mr. Bad Guy started walking towards the town, and the rest of the Protagonist Team followed.

Once they got to the town, they saw an Ogre who looked a lot like Shrek but different. "Is this me from an alternate dimension?" Shrek thought. "His face looks different, I don't think it is me. Though it is possible that other versions of people look different from each other." Mr. Bad Guy looked over at Shrek and noticed that he was staring at the ogre in front of them and he looked as if he was in thought. Mr. Bad Guy looked over at the other ogre and came to the same conclusion as Shrek. "Could this be an alternate version of Shrek?" Mr. Bad Guy thought. The rest of the Protagonist Team eventually walked past them into the town. "Hello, I'm Shrek." Shrek introduced himself to the ogre in front of him. "I'm Shurekku, that's kinda funny our names are so similar!" The ogre replied and shook Shrek's hand, then he lead them towards the town. Pikachu, Mr. Owl, Sho, and Dom all waited for Shrek, Mr. Bad Guy, and Shurekku caught up to them. Shurekku lead them all into his house and they had dinner together. Shurekku got out a few sleeping bags after they finished eating, and they all slept until the next day. All of them, that is, except for Shrek.

Shrek stayed up thinking about his passion for exploration. When the rest of the Protagonist Team woke up, Shrek was gone. The Protagonist Team got up and said goodbye to Shurekku as they went out to go look for Shrek. Shurekku got some fruit for them on their way out. They decided to split up, and eventually Mr. Owl found Shrek. Shrek was kneeling down in the middle of the grass. Mr. Owl tried to walk in front of Shrek to talk to him but he ran into something and fell down. he looked up and saw that there was nothing to bump into. Mr. Owl got up and put his hand forward, he was able to touch the air, he could lean on it, it held him in place. Mr. Owl dragged his wing along the air for a while. He found out there was an invisible wall, probably going around the entire town. Mr. Owl walked back over to Shrek, and saw Pikachu coming around from the other direction. He was dragging his hand along the wall too, and he walked up to Mr. Owl. "There's an invisible wall going all the way around the town." Mr. Bad Guy said. Mr. Owl nodded, then looked over to Shrek and saw that he was crying.

Shrek seemed to be having a breakdown due to his inability to explore the new dimension. He also knew that he had no way of going to any other dimensions. Shrek loved to explore and now he couldn't do that anymore, his one true joy was taken away from him. Shrek got up, he seemed angry, and he took out his anger on Mr. Owl and Mr. Bad Guy. Shrek was crying and attempting to hit those around him. Mr. Owl was dodging Shrek's attacks, when suddenly he started slowing down, and he could dodge anymore. Shrek had frozen time. He punched a hole directly through Mr. Owl's chest. Shrek then began to freak out, he had just killed his best friend. Shrek was in grief, and he collapsed onto the ground. Time resumed, and Mr. Bad Guy saw what Shrek had done. He started running, when Shrek began to think. "If Mr. Bad Guy gets back to the others, he will tell them all that I killed Mr. Owl." He thought. Shrek started running at Mr. Bad Guy. Mr. Bad Guy ran faster, but he tripped on a rock, and Shrek started getting closer to him.
