So, angst. (And a twist) Idk if I should make part 2 to this. You'll understand once you finish this.
Warning: Talks of death, crying, happy memories that make someone more sad, and whatever is triggering. (I'm bad at these warnings)
Enjoy! And tell me if you want part two!
Words: 1894 words.

"When somebody loved me, everything was beautiful. Every hour spent together lives within my heart."

You slipped your hand into Shiro's hand, smiling at the Exo. Shiro smiled back, his circuits starting to heat up from the Exo-blush.

"I love you Shiro."

"I love you too (Y/N)."

"And when she was sad, I was there to dry her tears."

You nestled into your pillow, Shiro's usual spot empty beside you. He, of course, had to go on a mission when you got the nightmares again, the nightmares of the future.

"Shiro..." You whimpered, hugging his pillow. The familiar scent flooded your senses, giving you some sort of comfort. Of course, it wasn't enough to stop the tears. Only he could do that.

You could hear the pitter patter of the rain hitting the window, but you could care less. You wanted, no, needed Shiro.

"(Y/N)? Sweetie? I'm home!" Shiro's voice rang out like a miracle.

"Shiro!" You got up and ran to the living room where Shiro was putting down his weapons. You flung yourself at him so fast, it took him a minute to process what had happened.

"Sweetie? What's wrong?" Shiro asked, lifting your head, showing the tears.

"Don't leave me..."

"Wouldn't dream of it," he said, wiping your tears.

"And when was happy so was I. When she loved me..."

As Shiro began to walk over to you, his cloak got caught on something. Yanking him back, Shiro fell onto the ground making you laugh.

"Oh my Traveler, are you okay?!" You laugh, slowly walking over to the Exo.

Hearing your laughter, seeing your smile, made him laugh and smile, "Yeah. I'm good!"

You let out your hand to help him up, but when Shiro grabbed it, he pulled you down with him. The two of you laughed even harder, clinging to each other.

"Through the summer and the fall, we had each other, that was all."

You fanned your face, trying to get some type of cool breeze from the hot summer days. It barely gave relief, but something cold was suddenly pressed into your neck.

Almost immediately, you leaned into the coldness of the thing, the person. Shiro laughed at your actions, snaking his arms around your waist.

"Mm, don't move. You are making sure I don't overheat," you said, taking his hand that wasn't covered by his gloves and putting it on your face.

"You're fine," Shiro laughed harder.

"Says you, you have fans to cool your circuits down. I don't, I'm suppose to stay here and give Guardians jobs," you pouted.

"Well, I'm sorry Miss. Future Hunter Vanguard," Shiro teased, making you smile.

"Oh ha ha," you mocked, "I'm Shiro-4 and I get to do scouting missions. I'm so cool!"

"You want me to leave?" Shiro threatened in response.

"No, please don't," you begged, making Shiro smile.
