Chapter 1 School

Rolling my eyes I looked over at my best friend April her blue eyes glared back at me we both hated geography and our teacher Mrs Clinton didn't make the subject any better as she droned on about Weather reports and natural disasters. Blocking out her dreary voice I started to day dream about Billie Joe the frontman Of Green Day like I always did and although he was well older than me I still was madly in love with him. Ever since I had heard Green Days song Basket Case I had become obsessed with the band.

Feeling a tap on my shoulder I turned around to see my friend Tammie staring at me tensely, she nodded her head over towards the teacher and as I looked over I knew I was in trouble.

"Daydreaming again Nicole Honestly am I speaking in a different language because I have already told you this before and if I catch you at it again then I will refer you have you got that?"

I nodded my head to let Mrs Clinton know that I heard her turning back around she pointed to the board

"Everyone's homework has to be handed in on the 3rd if you need help with any of the work feel free to come and ask me if you don't hand your homework in then I will have to issue you a d-merit."

As she said this her eyes fixed on Gary and Sam they were always in trouble and they always refused to do homework they both just smirked Gary green eyes lit up in mischief.

Last week he had been caught by the police smoking and our schools head teacher Mrs Ebsworth had warned him to stay out of trouble,one more foot out of line and he would be placed in a boarding School of course none of this bothered Gary he still caused havoc where ever he went.

Looking up at the clock Mrs Clinton told us to pack up our things and to tuck our chairs under and as the bell went Brinnnnnngggg we all forced our way out the classroom .April and Tammie were standing outside waiting for me

"You still coming to my house tonight?" Tammie chirped.

"Yeah of course'' I replied

Tammie had been planning this sleepover for a while now and after we both had begged our parents we were finally aloud to have it. April had wanted to come but her gran was dragging her along to a bingo tea.

Making our way out of the school we headed across the road April always got a lift so me and Tammie always had to walk waving goodbye to April we walked along St. James's street but instead of taking a left Tammie went right,looking at her confused I asked

"Where are we heading?"

"This is a shortcut Nicole, have you ever been this way it leads you right to my house?"

I shook my head I never even knew this place existed Tammie began walking again she made was making me nervous. I didn't know what she was up to but I trusted her rushing to keep up with her I shouted
"So what are we doing tonight"

Turning around she smirked I was struggling to keep up with her why was she on such a rush I began to run cause I knew that was the only way I would catch up with her at first I was just jogging but soon I had to sprint how quick was she walking. Just as I was about an arms reach away from her she turned around and stopped. Still Smiling she pointed towards the ground and then all of a sudden I started to fall I waited for the impact of my body hitting the ground but it never came looking around all I could see was black and then I heard

"Hello"
