"Grim has a terrible fate of fading away if they fail to protect a soul. Demons are the only thing that can kill us." Namjoon explained.

"When we fade, we are not reborn. Our existence is done forever. No rebirth." Jungkook said.

"It is hard to kill grim because of our rapid healing abilities since we can't kill ourselves to escape our fate, but it doesn't mean its impossible," Jungkook explained

"Please stop hiding secrets from now on. The best thing for all of us is, to be honest with each other." Jimin said. Hoseok sighs.

"He's right. And we have a new grim. Our whole team is complete, making our jobs safer yet dangerous at the same time. I don't want to lose you guys, you're my favorite bunch." Hoseok said.

"There is a newbie? Where is he?" Namjoon asked.

"He's with Jin. He decided to go through a run-through of everything and get him comfortable. Jin is planning to train us two together starting next week." Jimin explained.

"Thank you everyone for gathering. I am sorry for lying. It won't happen again. The boss is providing us time to rest and recover before the Grim Gala. I suggest you all unwind. Please give me your request for formal clothing by the end of tomorrow." Namjoon explained as he went straight to his office. Everyone quietly split ways. I made my way to my nest to take a break. I was about to fall asleep, but it was disrupted by a bright, hot, orange light.

"YAH!" I heard Jin yell. I peaked my head from my nest looked down.

"JIN WHAT WAS THAT?" I yelled.

"My bad!" A new voice yelled. I saw a new member. I made my way down to greet him.

"Was that fire yours?" I asked. He nodded, a little shaken.

"Be careful with your flames you Pheonix!" Jin got back on his feet

"I couldn't help it. Please forgive me, could we take a break?" He asked soberly. Jin's eyes softened. "Alright, I'll get you some water." Jin made his way to the kitchen.

"What's your name Phoenix?" I asked

"Yoongi, Min Yoongi."

"F/n. That's pretty impressive. I didn't know Phoenix's existed."

"I guess they do now. I am a crow when I am not on fucking fire." He said coldly. He didn't seem too pleased with his abilities.

"I think your flames are awesome." I smiled.

"Is there a reason you are talking to me?" He said in a stressful tone.

"We are going to work together, I am sorry if I'm pushing you. When you are feeling better, tell me what's up. I want to help you." I offered

"Sorry, it's just that people don't want to talk to me," he said. I wasn't sure how to carry on the conversation, so I flew back to my nest.

He did just get here, I should give him a break. I got out my tablet to ask what everyone was doing. Namjoon didn't respond, same as Jungkook. Taehyung is painting, Jimin is dancing, Jin is helping Yoongi. I wonder what Hobi is up to. Then a green sparkling ink appeared on my rose quartz tablet.

Can you come see me? I'm in my room.

Hobi? I wonder what's up. I flew swiftly, in my cardinal form, down the hallway to the room that Hoseok was staying in. When I opened the door, he was curled up against the wall on his bed as he hugged his pillow.

"Hobi? What's wrong?" I rushed to his side.

"I'm scared and sad. How pathetic of me. I know I can do better" Hoseok shook. I placed my hand on his shoulder. Seeing him without a smile didn't suit him.

"Hobi, it's alright to be unhappy sometimes. You are so strong for staying positive for us. What makes you stronger is having the courage to be vulnerable around your loved ones. I am here to listen." I assured. Hoseok was no longer tense and relaxed as I pulled him in for a hug. I massaged his head to relax and calm him down as his arms wrapped around my waist. We sat there in silence, besides Hobi's sniffling.

"You've changed f/n, more than you may think. You're not the same girl I met the first day. You have become a strong woman. I envy that, I still am the same boy who arrived years before you." Hoseok smiled with melancholy.

"Thanks, but what do you mean? Did something happen?" I asked

"Remember when you asked how long it took me to get over my nightmares. I never actually answered the question that day, but I still have mine. Seeing you accomplishing things faster than me...is a bittersweet feeling." his voice went a little shaky.

"Hoseok, I'm sorry, whatever happened that makes you still have nightmares?" I asked

"I'll tell you everything"
