Dendy's POV (also le time skip to 3 days)

"Let's go over here!" Fink grabs my hand and takes deeper into the forest. As she took us, I looked around and studied the environment that was around us.
"Fascinating.." I say while looking at the trees and plants. We both came to a halt unexpectedly, which made me run into Fink from behind. "Oof-! Why are we-"
"Oh I just wanted to take you here y'know." Fink interrupted. I looked around and saw a beautiful river. The water was crystal clear, making the fishes and tadpoles and other small aquatic creatures visible. The trees were tall and lovely; They give a perfect pattern of light and shadow. I look straight ahead and let the small breeze run through my face, I could hear Fink give a small chuckle.

"Wow Fink..." I said with amusement
"I know I know. Impressed right?" I nodded excitedly and started to study the rivers and plants. My curiosity ran though me until I realized something was missing
"K.O. isn't here-" I thought to myself. I stood up and brushed some 'dirt' off my jumpsuit. "Hey Fink?"Fink was leaning against a rock with her eyes closed, she could possibly be sleeping? I heard Fink grunt and slightly opened one eye, looking ahead where she's at. "Do you think K.O. is okay?"
"Uh," she sat up and looked at me, "he's a level 3, he's fine." She scoffed.
I wanted to agree with her, but I just couldn't. "He hasn't said anything in three days...he hasn't even been seen at school either..." My heart starts to race while i kept having these thoughts about K.O.
Fink sighs then gets up to hug me, "He's okay. He has his hero friends and he's a huge mamma's boy. He's gonna have his mommy by his side."

I started to get this weird feeling towards Fink...her hug was, soft... I shook my head and slightly backed away a bit. "How come you're being so nice towards me and not to K.O. or anyone else?"
I could see a tint of pink on Fink's face, "I j-just wanna be friends! Besides, that mamma's boy is always beating me up when Boss sends me to destroy the plaza! Why do you care about him so much?"
"Well...He's nice, and funny, optimistic, kindhearted.." I could feel my face burn up, Fink looks at me with a disgusted(?) face.
"Don't tell me you l i k e him"
"Like won't be necessary. I um...love him..." I could see Fink's mouth drop.
"WHAT?! HOW COULD YOU LOVE HIM?!?! HOW?!?!" She grabbed my shoulders and started to shake me back and forth.
"W-We've been friends for a while! And I developed these feelings for him!" Fink stops then thinks for a bit
"But what if he doesn't love you back?" I cocked my head feeling a bit confused; Fink did a face palm, "Guys. Always. Mess. With. Girls'. Feelings."
I shook my head. "Correct but not all boys mess with others' feelings." I pushed up my glasses, "I've known K.O. for a while...so i highly doubt he'll feel different.
"Well-! Well-! I heard he had feelings for uh...Nanini!" Fink spit out
"Wh-What-?" My heart drops. Did he really had feelings for her..?
"Yeah! I saw the two of them..walking home together while i was going home- they were hugging and holding hands, and i was all like 'g r o s s'"
I looked at the river then thought to myself for a bit while Fink was rambling about them. "How doesn't he feel the same...?" I thought. "Were my calculations wrong about our love for reach other..?"
I then felt a hand on my shoulder, "Dendy?" I looked up, with somewhat teary eyes but they weren't noticeable because of my glasses/googles, and saw Fink with a concerned expression, "are you gonna be okay..?"
I nodded and wiped some tears away, "I just need something to eat." I grab Finks hand, she sorta flinched, "Let's go buy something at the Bodega"

"Are you sure it's safe..?" Fink says while hiding behind a bush
"Certainly" I smiled at her, "I'll explain if they say something" Fink comes out and hid behind me. We both then headed inside to Gar's Bodega.

"Welcome to Gar's Bodega, do whatever." Enid greets dully.
I shrugged off the dullness from Enid and headed to the candy isle with Fink. I could see Fink's eyes shine with excitement, "Candy!"
"You can look here while I look over there," I pointed to the fish isle and headed there. I spent about 3 minutes looking for a perfect fish head, until I saw Radicles stocking up some boxes. I guess he hasn't notice me being here? I grabbed a fish head and went back to the candy isle where I saw Fink holding 3 bags of candy. I giggled and the two of us headed to the counter table.
Enid starts to scan the items, she then widen her eyes a bit. "Oh Dendy! I have something to ask."
"Sure" I smiled at her
"Do you have any idea where brush- I mean, K.O. went? He hasn't been present at work for 3 days. Mr. Gar isn't even being a big dingle about it! He just has this sad look when we bring up K.O."
"I-I sadly do not...I would've expected him being at the Bodega.." I suddenly start to worry. How come Gar is sad about mentioning K.O.? Why hasn't Carol contact the school about K.O.?
"By the way, that's 17 technos."

I gave Enid the technos and headed out. "Fink..?"
"Yeah?" She says while eating her candy
"There's something going on with K.O....I feel scared.."
"Psh, he's probably at his mom's or went with other family members. I'm sure he's okay." I couldn't help but think very deeply about K.O. He's my best friend after all...
I ate my fish head, even though my stomach refused to, "I'll get going now..see you tomorrow at school.
"Bye bye Dendy!" Fink says, she then ran to BoxMore.

I felt all of my anxiety drop to my stomach. "He should be okay right...?" The more I worry, the quicker I walked. I wanted to talk to K.O. so badly, but for some reason, my body and moth refused to?
Once I made it home, I started to do research quickly.

I have to find out what happened and find out if he actually has feelings for Nanini
