(The Next Day)

When I wake up, Ray isn't next to me. I look over at the clock and it's 1:47 pm. I get out my bed and go to the bathroom...

After my shower , I get dressed in a white t-shirt and black shorts. I open my room door and go downstairs. The first thing I see is Madison and some boy watching Tv.

"Hey D." Madison says to me. She was smiling. I smile back and say,

"Hey." I sit on the couch and the boy looks at me.

"This is my friend , Jason. Jay this is Des."

"You look really familiar." he says.

"Oh really? " Madison says.

"Tes, you said her name was Des? "

"Desire." I say.

"I think I might know you." I get confused.

"From where." Madison asked. She looked jealous.

"Oh Yeaa. School, I had a best friend named Desire."

"What grade? " I ask.

"From 6th to 8th, then we both ended up going to different high-schools. so I haven't seen her since then " I had to think for a while... then it hit me.

"Is your last name Sanders?"

"Yes." He smiled.

I ran over to him and gave him a hug. Practically tackling him.

"OH MY CHEESE!" I yell, still hugging him. "I haven't seen you in a good while! You don't even look like you!" He hugged me too. I dont even wanna let go.

Then someone cleared there throat, messing up our moment. I stood up to see Ray and the rest of the MB gang. Oh great..

"What's this?" he asked.

"Me hugging and old friend... " I say.

Of course Ray was jealous. He said OK and went up stairs. I sat back down on the couch. I seen Madison roll her eyes. Oh Great. More drama.

"So how do you two know each other?" Princeton asked as he sat on the couch. Roc and Prod went upstairs.

"We were good friends in middle school." Jason answered. Prince nodded.

"I'll be back." I say. I head upstairs to go talk to Ray....

>Roc<

I go upstairs and knock on Marie's door. I don't get and answer.

"Ann'Marie?" I call, still know answer. I turn the nob and the door was open.

I peek in her room to see her dancing with headphones in her ears. That's why she didn't open the door. I admire her every move as she danced around her room. And she's a great dancer too.

"...we could be more then temporary

I'm tryna make us some official

like.."

She sounds so beautiful. She stopped dancing and sat down at the end of her bed. I shut the door slowly, then knock on it. She opens it and smiled as she seen me.

"What's up?" She says.

"I wanted to talk to you." I say.

"Ok." she let me in and shut the door behind her. I sit on the bed and she sat in a chair. "so what's up?"

"I wanted to know if.. you would like to go on a date with me later?" She smiles again.

"Of course, " She answered. I stood up, happily. "But where to?"

"It's a surprise." I said, leaving her room...

>Ray<

I'm upstairs in my room sitting on my bed think. I know Des wouldn't cheat on me but.. the way she hug that boy made me a little jealous.

There's a not at my door and I say 'come in' . The door opens Des comes in, shutting the door behind her. I sit up and she sits next to me. Then she looks at me.

"Are you mad? " she asked. I shook my head.

"No..." I lie.

"Stop lying Ray, and there's nothing to worry about. Me and Jason are just friends. I would never cheat on you." I sigh.

"I know that Desire... but what if he attempts to kiss you?"

"I wouldn't let him." She laughed.

"Whats so fun?"

"Nothing. It's just cute when your jealous." I cross my arms.

"I'm not jealous!"

"Sure you aren't Ray. Anyway, were did you guys go?"

"We had a meeting with Walter and Kenneth."

"Oh so what we gonna do today? "

"We could all get together to plan Ann'Marie's Party. What day is her birthday anyway? " I say.

"Wednesday."

"Ighh, let's go talk with everyone else."

>Marie<

So after Roc left my room, I headed for the mall. My birthday is coming up and I wanna go shopping now. But only because my dad told be we will be working all week.

The first store I go to is Forever 21 ...

>Madison<

"So any ideas?" I ask everyone as we sat at the dinning room table.

Since Ann'Marie isn't here, were taking now as an opportunity to plan the surprise party.

"Should it be a themed thing? " Des asked.

"Yea." I answered.

"Then we should do a Snapback theme party l."

"Oh that's a good idea" Roc said "When me and her was out the other night, she told be how much she loved snapbacks." I seen Princeton roll his eyes.

"OK so it a snapback theme." I say. "We all should get jobs so it's fair."

"I call decorations." Des said.

"I wanna give out the invitation." Prod said.

"I'll buy the cake." Roc said.

"And everyone else, including me, will help with everything else." I say.

"but what as about food? " Ray asked.

"We could just order pizza and buy snacks and drinks." Prod says. We all agree. This is gonna be one fun party.

But I keep getting a feeling, something bad is gonna happened....
